NC500 Day 8. Shegra to Durness. Sango Sands and Smoo Cave.

The Slaws leave Shegra beach crofter’s campsite in their Hobby motorhome Helga ‪@HobbyCaravan‬ with their two Lhasa Apso dogs Billy and Jessie and travelled north to Durness.
A quick pit stop at Cocoa Mountain and Balnakiel beach, before pitching at Sango Sands.
A visit to Smoo cave and drinks at Sango Sands Oasis.

We went first time in campervan. motorists are considerate in Scotland. At time driving slow as rhoad narrow. So pulled over & let others passed. Thanks to kind English & Scots men who helped when we got stuck.Thanks for sharing.

Another nice beach. Do you remember recommending that I visit Grotte de Clamouse in the south of France? We did visit and it was a relief to get out of the hot sun for an hour or so. xx
