I knew the first time I seen him wrestling at practice when he was 5 years old that he was unlike anything I've ever seen before. I honestly thought he was years older which he mentally is. Both matches were by one point and much like we watched last night, the refs let him put on his track shoes to finish the matches. Saw Dean, Bravo-Young and Suriano do it last night. Hang on to a slim lead and run around the mat to let the clock run out. It happened back then and it’s still happening now. PSU has a great program with Cael but the refs are afraid to call anything on them either.

I disagree, the commitment and training it takes to be an Olympic champion is absurd. You have to love what you do to compete at it at a level like that. What more is there for him to do. He’s done everything you can do in wrestling and he has an opportunity the others haven’t. He’s more than likely the greatest heavyweight of all time, I don’t think you can question the love for a sport it takes.

Gable completely controlled the first peiod but after the escape in the second period he shot that double leg and Shultzstopped him and came close to getting the takedown. After that Gable played it safe and pretty much stalled the rest of the match.... Schultz wrestled tough....I wish he was coming back..He was a GREAT wrestler one of the most DOMINANT WRESTLERS of all time.
