@@rico14 Lol I was a big time judoka and went to many competitions for many years (I'm only 24 now but don't compete anymore), and I did wrestle for 2 years and I started hating folkstyle, I was about to quit completely and then a friend and teammate told me about an upcoming freestyle tournament. I asked what that was and he told me, I said, "Sure fine I will come. But just to watch." So I went and saw some really solid ranked HS and college wrestlers going at each other and I immediately realized I hated folkstyle because it was not the style of wrestling for me, and I realized I loved freestyle a lot more.

I rooted against Nickal as an Ohio State fan and a fan against college monopolies- but I gotta say that Nickal was special in college. I mean, I think Snyder's feats were much more historical- but Snyder never quite made it look as easy. Moore wrestled a decent match here and had opportunities- but Nickal was just too tough to finish a takedown. I think Nickal is more impressive than Nolf. I honestly think that Hidlay was robbed against Nolf. Winning with an injury was impressive, but still....he shouldn't have won in my opinion. Yianni pulled a cradle out of his but against Meredith and was gifted a win verse McKenna. I can't really think of any guys who made winning look as easy as Nolf- Even Retherford and Steibber had to work for it at times. I will say that Spencer Lee is on a different level. I'm not sure how he will fare in international style, but he could beat any wrestler in the world at folk style at his weight.

Imma just say it, I don't like it when Bo Nickal helps his competitors up despite them not taking it. I know that sounds petty, but I don't think it's a sportsmanship move. I will agree sometimes when a guy will actually accept his hand to get up, and that's respectful, but when they refuse it, Bo will go out of his way to pick them up at the hip or something awkward. At that point, I think it's just a domination move. Some examples I've seen are him against Moore at their meet and Hokit and round 2 of the NCAAs
@jakedemaggio8649 Жыл бұрын
You might be looking too Much into it. I think he’s just being sportsmanlike. But keep in mind it’s a combat sport where one man is literally attempting to physically dominate another, that’s the truth. There’s genuine conflict Going on in there and it’s in a competitive environment, so even IF Bo was kinda “big brothering” his opponents I don’t have a problem with it.
