This was the greatest national championship game of all time. I can't believe that the media hypes and rides Texas vs. USC so much even over this game to this day. Although it was a great game, it had nothing of the story that this game brought. UGA, coached by Saban's right hand man for so many years, was trying to end a 40 year championship drought while Saban was trying to catch The Bear. The decision he made to start Tua in the second half will go down as one of the most genius moves in college football history just like the onside kick vs Clemson. While in hindsight, it was a no brainer, but Jalen was his man and had got the team all the way to the summit not once but twice. The tension of this game could have been cut with a knife all night long as both teams were almost equally matched. The only difference was a young man from Honolulu sitting on the bench waiting to answer the call. And did he ever. And to think that as great as he was, he would never hoist the Heisman trophy, yet it would be won by the very freshman receiver that caught his winning throw. Hollywood could not write this. Incredible.

Was the Georgia CB #14 THAT slow? Devonta Smith just flew past him on the overtime TD, and #14 expected the safety to come in and do all the work. Even when you get beat, you have to have make-up speed to close the gap and make a play on the ball. An inexcusable blown coverage for that situation.
