I love both of these bands. But i was expecting a more intense battle! A&T, you guys need to clean up that Annihilate. Trumpets really need to step it up. Golden Delight looked good as always. Norfolk was just ok. Definitely some notches down after seeing them in Houston. Still two great programs. 👍

Not sure who won. NSU seemed off their game and picked the wrong songs to play. NCAT has some cleaning up to do. I didn't like NCATs version of Annihilate. NCATs Little Yachty was pretty good. Another year or two and NCAT will be a force.

The arrangement sounds like it was 🔥 though! It was the sloppy trumpets in the beginning and them not sounding together/confident when they had to come back in during the breakdown. Woodwinds were solid and euphoniums (and mellos at the end) were holding down that melody! Execution as a whole matters at the end of the day!

⁠@@Tboneman35It was really the 2nds and 3rds that was messing up most in that break. Them screamers however…..they ALMOST had it! This was really the only song they struggled on the most but everything else they sounded great
