So it, made big band into a dictator and changed his name to strum Because: Robo Fortune: he's already a dic(detective)so make him a dictator the biggest DICK there is! And make is name the instruments he can't play. Comedy Gold! (Edit)* and gave him a meteor to make sure the humans died if lash couldn't do it...

Nah, this is the *prequel*. After Advance Wars 2, Sturm decided to quit his conquerer job and decided to start a band with all his friends (nobody) instead, leaving some decrepit old guy on life support in charge of his army. (For those unfamiliar with Advance Wars, the change from Sturm in Advance Wars 2 to Von Bolt in Advance Wars: Dual Strike is never explained.)

If you didn't hear, they're doing a remake for Switch called Advanced Wars: Reboot Camp. They're using more cartoony 3d versions of the maps, units and portraits which some people dont like, but it might be worth a look if your interested.

the wait is over friend! on December 3rd the titles "Advance Wars" and "Advance Wars: Black Hole Rising" are going to receive a remake ^^ only sucks if you were a Dual Strike fan, as there are no news regarding that one yet. or Days of Ruin, but lets be honest, that hardly counts as an Advance Wars game and is more of its own, seperate thing. Short Update on that: The release got delayed until approximately April 8th 2022 :(

@@MrxD-cg5xs Well, Days of Ruin still falls under the "Wars" banner. As Advance Wars is...I believe the 6th installment in the whole series. As "Wars" series dates back to 1988 with the first title called "Famicom Wars". The last "Wars" title that was not a Re-Boot or a Remaster version was Battalion Wars on the Game Cube in 2005-2006. It was supposed to have a sequel title but it was canned before it even could be worked on. Fairness, Advance Wars series of games is by far one of the better series to come from the "War" titles.

This is a Certified Child-Hood Classic! Also, apparently Sturm can actually hard-counter Caulder, because Caulder uses his funds to repair his units and the most powerful ones are mostly going to be near or next to him in his CO Zone.

There's one problem though: If the game start off pretty standard, then Caulder have a powerful early game advantage since he could load himself into Recon to disturb Sturm's capture game and push to his base as quickly as possible

Caulder dominates Sturm. Even with Meteor Strike, Caulder just heals it like it's nothing. It cost money, but them 50/50 Stat juggernaut is unstoppable.

I love the idea of clone Andy just being a robot that normal people could tell wasn't the real deal but in universe no one can spot the difference just for comedic effect. That thought reminds me of Robo KY from Guilty Gear's role in his game's story
