Hello, thank you for your inquiry. To replace audio for a video clip, drag and drop your audio track onto the Timeline below the original audio track where it says "Drag and drop your audio clips here to mix". This will create a new audio track. To remove the original audio track, you can right click and select "Unlink Audio from Video", and then right click on the track and select "Delete Track".

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. To add music to your video, load the audio track into VideoPad and drag and drop the track onto the timeline where it says "drag and drop your audio clips here". Once your audio track is on the timeline, you can use split and cut to shorten the track and you can drag the audio clip left and right to adjust its placement.

Hi there, you can undock the sequence window in order to increase the size of the timeline and sequence window. We have an article in the Help Manual to show you how to dock and undock a window here: help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win/147.html You can also click and drag the white bar that appears between the video tracks and the audio tracks in order to increase the size of the audio tracks. Finally, you can collapse the size of audio and video tracks that you are not editing in order to reduce the number of open tracks on the timeline. Yes, you can add audio tracks from your computer using the method shown in this video. You can add your own audio tracks in VideoPad by clicking on the "Open" button and locating the file on your computer. You can then drag and drop the audio track from the audio bin onto the timeline where it says "Drag and Drop your audio clips here".

To remove audio from a video, open the video file in VideoPad and drag and drop the video file to the VideoPad timeline where it says "Drag and drop video, text and image clips here". To unlink the audio from the video, click on the link icon that appears on the audio track, or right click on the audio track and select "Unlink from video" from the right click menu. Once the audio clip has been unlinked from the video, you can delete the audio clip and add a different audio file to the timeline.

To remove audio from a video clip, you will need to place the video clip on the VideoPad timeline and then click the link icon to unlink the original audio from the video clip. You can also right click and select "Unlink from Audio/Video" from the right click menu. After the original audio has been unlinked from the video, you can drag and drop new audio files onto the audio timeline to add in your own music.

Hi Julius, you should be able to accomplish this by adding a song that is longer than your video clip to the timeline. Audio that is longer than your video clip will continue playing with a black background after the video clip has ended. You can also trim audio clips to fit the length of a video clip by aligning the cursor on the timeline at the end of the video and selecting the "cut" button to cut the audio track. You can then delete the excess audio by right clicking on the track and selecting "Delete" from the right click menu.

huh i found this way so you go to your music clips (turn on the xbox game bar 2020 ) then play the music once your done add it to your files then go to the source and add it then tap on taht line of music and press (seperate) once done delete the footage and REPLACE it with the footage you want it with. thats the idea ive done it only takes 20 to 10 minutes for me

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can freeze the video and continue with a narration. To freeze the video, the easiest method will be to take a snapshot. To do this, open the video that you would like to edit in VideoPad, and drag and drop the video onto the timeline. Click on the video timeline at the point you would like to pause the video, and split the video by clicking on the "Split" button on the right hand side of the VideoPad window. Next, click on the "Snapshot" button on the right hand side of the VideoPad window to take a snapshot of your video. A snapshot of your video will be automatically added to the Images bin. Drag and drop the snapshot onto the video timeline where you previously split your video. You can increase or decrease the duration of the snapshot image by dragging the edge of the snapshot right or left on the timeline. Finally, drag and drop an audio track onto the audio track timeline, or record a narration.

If your video clip has an audio track attached, you may need to either move your new audio track to a second audio track in order to overlay audio, or unlink the original audio track from the video clip. To unlink audio from a video clip, hover your mouse over the audio track that you would like to unlink, and click on the link icon. This will allow you to delete or move the original audio track in order to replace it with a new track.

this video editing software is so poorly made. i try to crop something and i cant even scale it out because i cant find the scale tool. plus the layout of it looks like its from the early 2000s its really bad yall need to make a better one then this. disgusts me.
