I have heard people say that they can charge money to their room credit card for the casino. Do you know if NCL or your card charges fees for this? I have heard that some other cruise lines charge a fee.

NCL charges 3%. Your CC company should not charge extra. All the charges get added up during the cruise and charged as a single transaction at the end of the cruise.

I agree with @andrewbaird4266; that's how NCL does it. It's convenient so you don't have to get and carry cash in advance, but there is the 3% fee.
