there's a line that goes "NCT noise you can't break me" I'm not sure if you have noticed that sometimes the beat switches can be unexpected so there are some who think it's "noise" BUT NCT still RESONATES thru their music. they are their own genre

Even when they debuted, their are already some people says their music is a noise. I even read a comment like last year from one of their recent MVs something along the lines of, "SM should stop giving NCT noisy songs. They should give something that doesn't neglect their vocals." I was like, "Sis. Have you heard their B-sides? And that NOISE is what lead NCT to where they are right now." I honestly want the noise to keep coming. It's basically NCT's trademark.

@@samui3763 I've seen similar comments too and it always makes me mad because the reason NCT became my top group is because of that "noise". I love that they are unique and don't follow trends or what's popular in the west because that's the reason I found Kpop a few years ago, to begin with. I was so tired of mainstream music here in the states and all of it sounding so similar to each other, I know not every song is like that, but the majority of them are, or at least they were a few years ago. Not trying to hate on western mainstream music, I just personally prefer something different and unique sounding songs whether it's the beat or artist themselves that make it that way so finding Kpop was perfect for me especially with NCT because not only are their songs different from anyone else, but Taeyong has one of the most unique voices and rapping styles which is how he became my ult bias along with G-Dragon (another unique voice I love with the complete opposite tone to TY). I really hope SM/NCT never changes their sound and style or tries to do whatever's trending and what a lot of other artists are doing because their music is what makes them stand out from others and if people don't like it then they don't have to listen to it.

@@emmastanley425 Kpop is what made me appreciate other genres too. I used to like only rock songs because western pop was not my thing. (It's still not to this day.) I admit, I started to get into NCT because my ult group went through rough times in 2017. I wasn't planning to stan them at first. Their music just intrigues me because....it's different and weird. I'm drawn to that. They are not just throwing random stuff in their songs even if it seems that way but ofcourse, it is also well thought of. I don't love SM completely but I love the way they step out of the norm and taking risk which ofcourse, not risking them to get bankrupt in the process. NCT's concept is basically risky. It has been years of plan. They obviously know it's pros and cons. I've embraced their concept ever since I decided to get to know them.

Taeyong is the one who started the song. He's the leader and center for NCT 127 as well as NCT as a whole. He was in Make a wish , Kick it, Superhuman, Boss, Regular, Misfit, The 7th sense and of course, Black on black and Resonance out of all the ones you've watched. He's the main rapper, main dancer, leader, center, sub vocalist, face of the group and visual. He's also a lyricist, composer, choreographer as well as producer. He's permanently in NCT 127 and usually participates for NCT U too as it's a rotational unit. Apart from NCT, he's also in a super group formed by their company with their idols from their senior groups as well. He's known for his unrivalled charisma and stage presence and is called "the absolute ace" and "the sole center". NCT concept starts from him. He's the centre of the NCT circle that keeps evolving bigger so basically it revolves around him.

Oh, this is hard. It's like picking your favorite child. My top three are songs, not necessarily music videos, lol. From first to third, 90s Love, Firetruck, and Turn Back Time. Firetruck is a bop. This song actually has such a great meaning behind it too. Since you haven't reacted to Kpop other than NCT on this channel, I am not sure if you're aware of how kpop songs usually are, but NCT never had a normal/stereotypical kpop sound. Since the beginning, they mostly had experimental music and were criticized heavily until other groups started adopting experimental sounds too, or like how the antis call it 'noise music'. This song was basically about how (since they are artists), people expect them to do things and behave in a certain way, wanting to control them-as if it was a game of simon says. And this was them saying that they're not confirming to the 'mould' and will continue with what they want to do. Which is honestly a very inspiring message. In fact, in the lyrics they've even referred to some of the things people like to insult NCT 127 with.

NCT 127 actually debuted (with Fire truck as their debut song) with 7 members... Taeil Taeyong Yuta Jaehyun Winwin Mark Haechan On their second comeback (Limitless) two members we're added.. Johnny and Doyoung and then another one was added on the release of Regular.. Jungwoo Sadly though.....one member was removed (Winwin/Dong Si Cheng...i dont wanna say the word 'removed' but i dont know what term to use,though other fans still believes that he'll comeback and he's still a 127 member),at that time three new chinese members of NCT debuted... Xiaojun Hendery Yangyang and since there's a lot of Chinese members they decided to make a new sub unit that is based on China (WayV) and Winwin is one of the members... Im kinda confused though as to why they have to remove Winwin from Nct 127 when even other members belong to two sub units.. At first I thought its because it may be hard for Winwin since WayV is china based and they promote their songs a lot there and if 127 would also promote another song it would be hard for him to cope up or go back and forth from china to korea.. Then I started to think about Mark, Taeyong, Ten and Lucas that are members of SuperM which is a different group....I dont know what to think added with the thought of SM ent. (their entertainment) that are not in good terms with 'Chinese members' (and Winwin is chinese).. I.... Winwin was still active here on Simon says but couldn't be seen on their choreography.. Winwin is one of the members who have the least amount of screen time and parts on their songs...(and when i say least...i mean it) Random info.: Fans have a love and hate relationship towards SM entertainment....because sometimes they are in right minds and make us happy through giving NCT members what they deserve... but most of the time bullsh*ting them Still...SM entertainment is one of the top entertainment in korea..

when i said not to try to recognize them, i met don't try recognizing them through the nct u subunit because they aren't a fixed unit! it'll just make you confused, obviously you guys have watched alot of videos so you'll recognize some members but im talking about actually learning them. learning members through dream, 127, and wayv is your best bet and that can include learning them with music videos. learning idols with mvs is just not that helpful since they always change their hair color and everything is hectic (like the visuals change quickly), i recommend watching guides and/or looking them up on the website: kpop profiles or the website fandom. picking one feature that stands out for all the members will truly save your life lmfao i stan over twenty groups and i've used that to help me recognize and memorize idols quickly- it works everytime. sungchan and shotaro (the new members) aren't in a set unit as of now, they debuted with nct u (shotaro - make a wish, sungchan - 90s love and misfit, both of them were in resonance) aka the unit that anyone from nct can be in but it's literally just two dudes.. plus nct are very different from one another when it comes to their looks atleast in my opinion, people automatically think it will be hard but the only hard thing about getting into nct would be matching their names to their faces!

Hi! Just to make it clear to you, The GROUP's overall name is just NCT. But they have 4 units so far. NCT 127 - simon says, kick it, regular etc NCT Dream - ridin etc WayV - Chinese Unit: moonwalk, love talk NCT U - U means United. They have no permanent members. This group is rotational and promotion and members depends on song concept being released at the time. Make a wish, 90's love, work it, from home, are all composed of members from different units but with different combinations. Great example was NCT U - misfit which is an all rapper unit and From home as a vocal unit. It is safer to call them NCT + the unit name / wayV to avoid confusion.

I think it's similar for you guys with 90s love (which is also good but yall seem to REALLY love it compared to others lol). It also depends how much you know about kpop as a whole (so outside of NCT), 7th sense definitely stands apart from ANY other kpop song which makes it special, and Cherry bomb is the most 127 sounding song. Limitless and Superhuman are kinda considered "perfect" songs that have almost all elements of an amazing song (especially the arrangement and production of it)
