I think the main reason some didn’t like it was because they were expecting a new song. Black on Black with all 18 members was technically a “new song”, even though it wasn’t actually a full song. I honestly was surprised when the video started and I realized it wouldn’t be Black on Black 2.0 but now that I’ve watched the mv a couple times I’m really glad they did it this way. The issue with nct 2018 was that only a couple members got to sing and have closeups in the BoB video while the rest were basically backup dancers. I think SM did a really great job showcasing nct 2020 as a whole and what they represent by doing it this way

Although Black on Black wasn’t a new song as they performed it for MAMA 2016. I suppose it was new and reworked and made into an MV for the 18 members. Either way it’s a great performance song. I really like what they did with Resonance, it features more members and they even included WinWin and his line.

Was waiting for you to react to Blueballs the MV. That sounds all kinds of wrong, but accurate! I actually did go into this one assuming it would be like Black on Black, but I was not disappointed at all. I really liked that it's a medley. Favorite part: Ten's ice-skating spin into kicking us in the face. Feel free to hide your shock. You definitely should check out Black on Black soon for sure.
