The ice hockey jersey was actually a reference to The Mighty Ducks films that was released during the 90's, 1992, 1994 and 1996 to be exact. Great film and very big during the 90's. fyi

As someone who was born in 89' so I definitely grew up in the 90s....the hockey was perfect. Hockey was HUGE in the 90s and the Mighty Ducks were so iconic in that Era. I think 90s Love has more to do with loving the 90s versus loving...someone. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VIDEO SCREAMED 90s. Extremely nostalgic for me. There's sooooo many references yall just didn't get at all. BUT I did love the honesty and the reaction so it's all good! :)

Um, didn’t yall know about the Mighty Ducks??? That was instantly what I thought when I saw the mv. That movie was so popular in the 90s. You all look like you were born in the late 90s at the latest-that’s my guess, so maybe you just weren’t aware.

Hockey was really popular in the 90s! Especially hockey jerseys, even more since they were so baggy. Also the song has New Jack Swing elements in it, which is VERY 90s. Lots of 90s groups used New Jack Swing as a style, think New Edition. Another Kpop song that has a New Jack Swing style would be Call Me Baby by EXO.
