You can learn right now if you want to. One of my favorite pianists is basically virtuoso level and he self-taught himself starting at age 15. That's levels higher than this so I can imagine that when you're older as long as you put effort into it you could definitely get to this level.

I'm in tears, literally crying right now. I usually don't comment (browse in incognito), but I just want to let you know I appreciate the level of detail in your playing, I'm a performer and I use Light of the Seven in one of my acts, so I've heard the original track thousands of times, hearing your rendition is like hearing it fresh again, you know how songs get numb over many listens, but when you listen to it in a different key it sounds fresh again? Yeah I got that feeling here, though I think I had more tears now compared to hearing the original. Familiarity I guess. I honestly clicked this expecting a cool cover, but not one that would make me cry. Same song can make someone shrug, but another person cry. That's art. Rant over - thank you for uploading this.
@Bozzigmupp5 жыл бұрын
MrErmwat i dont think this is in a different key though
@NDGmusic5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Mr Ermwat, that may be one of the most touching comment I've ever read... Here is my "rant" ;) You made me think about something quite important about the music in general. There is one thing that "scares" me in doing music, but less and less thanks to people like you: I've been and still am playing / practicing a TON, day after day. I realized that all of this is a very ego-centric activity: I play for my happiness/fulfilment, I practice for my self-improvement, all of that is good but hey, can I really use all of this for the good of others? Can I really share what I feel? Am I practicing towards that goal or is it only to become better compared to other? I put out my video to the world for finding what can I make out of my skills/knowledge. And with all that honest love pouring in the comments, especially those like yours, I think I found my answer. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart.
