As I saw this, I went in blind and bought the sheets without hesitation. Played through it once (as close as my sight reading skills go) - and this is a sensation! It has so many themes and reminiscences from the soundtrack as no other piano arrangement has. And quite playable, too. Can’t wait to watch the video tomorrow!

@Andrey Gs apart from the fact that it is an arrangement and not a transcription ... and that sometimes deviates strangely from the original. Definitely an impressive project, but I couldn't really enjoy it so I probably wouldn't listen to it again

@@7riXter Of course some parts are more arranged than other but I think this arrangement didn’t change the original score too much, so I think we can call it transcription at some parts.

This is THE piano solo against which all other LOTR piano solos that have come, or will come, will be judged against. This is a timeless masterpiece, with the perfect difficulty level for the advanced pianist. This piece is amazing and I have waited for this video for so long!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! 😁😁😁😁

I have been waiting 20 years for such a perfect arrangement of one of the best soundtracks ever. Best sheet music I have ever purchased. This will be a pleasure to play for years to come. As others mentioned it is just the right level of difficulty. There are still so many other excellent themes from LOTR - maybe a part two someday please?

Watching each LoTR movie for the first time on premiere in cinemas, one of the best moments I had was when Gandalf and Pippin was riding into Minas Tirith in ROTK and the music was playing 9:24. I had goosebumps from the top of my hair on the head down to my toes. Such an amazing theme. Very delightful performance from you sir!

This was worth the wait. Clearly Ueda-san took his time to keep this arrangement tight and focused on the score as we movie-goers had experienced it. It’s a very impressive effort. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Actually it’s not easy to select only one favourite piece among the several ones you arranged in a refined classical style and played with a so accomplished fluent technique. Your redintions of the famous Disney themes make them even more beautiful than they really are. But the two pieces that I really love are the movie themes of Transformers and Home Alone. I think that in these two pieces your arrangement ability brings out from the notes of the piano every part and shade of the original instruments in a perfect way with the final result of clearly evoking the scenes of the films. Thanks for your great works Leiki!
