Ob der Publikumsliebling Ibert oder mein Favorit Roussel, die Präzision und Transparenz im Tempo, im Rhythmus und im Zusammenspiel, Verdienst des Dirigenten und der Musiker gleichermaßen, wohl auch der Möglichkeiten, welche die Akustik der Elbphilharmonie bietet, sind einfach hinreißend. Das wünsche ich mir mitsamt einem Schwerpunkt auf französischer Musik auch weiter als Markenzeichen des Orchesters.

I have just finished watching this for the second time. This is a fantastic concert. The audio quality is perfect. The video is great as it shows where "the action" is. The orchestra are in top form with some truly great music, each section very clear and distinct. The Ravel is always a favorite, but each piece here so good, and the Roussel is pure fire. I watch all of Järvi's videos, and this is one of his best. Thank you for sharing this.

Wunderschöne und detaillierte Aufführung dieser vier französischen Meisterwerke mit gut vereinigten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen aller Instrumente. Le Tombeau de Couperin klingt besonders schön und echt bezaubernd. Der unvergleichliche Dirigent leitet das perfekt trainierte Orchester im präzisen doch gut phrasierten Tempo und mit künstlerisch kontrollierter Dynamik. Alles ist wundervoll!

Great composers, great orchestra, great conductor. The Ibert is, of course, a piece that has the applause almost built into the composition itself. And it's funny and/or sad how they all seem to wait for the BRAVO at the end of the Divertissement ... and then they just applaud and "Bravo" themselves, haha.
