Interesting interview. This is one of the best movies I've seen this year. It's showing now in Australia and I am busy recommending it to everyone. After watching this I'm so glad that Mira Nair didn't go the Hollywood route to make it. I'm sure that all of its nuance would have been destroyed by interfering hands.

Um, are you talking about Obama? Because he isn't Muslim. His father was raised in a Muslim family, later becoming Christian, but you don't inherit religion the same way you inherit race. And even if Barack Obama Sr had been a practising Muslim, Barack Obama Jr only remembers his father from one month spent with him when he was 10. His mother was a secular humanist. I wouldn't care myself if the president was a Muslim, but please don't misrepresent him.
