I vote for Yashika Dutt Against the Motion - It's Important to raise the voice! wild or mild can be evaluated later . Social Media is the best alternative for a non violent protest it's better than people coming out on roads and throwing stones or doing assassinations in disguise. For every Evil voice if there is a God voice the injustice will get nullified. If we are a country of Beliefs, let's also believe in the possibility that Social Media can do the best for our nation and lets give it a benefit of doubt till we have a proper way to handle Social Media Ethically.

Undoubtedly Yashica spoke most brilliantly, I would rank Raghu after her. Rana would be third(Although I love her). Dr. Tharoor was least interesting in front this youngsters. I will vote for Yashica Dutt, Nowadays two kinda people are dominating all over one group is overcritical (say no for everything) and majority is people who accept everything both causes harm for development of a society. I think it is wrong to generalise and conclude that *social media* itself does harm or good. It is a tool of transferring a message and its usage depends on the one who wields it. The work of social media is to propagate a message and I think it does that pretty well. The problem lies not with the media itself but its moderation ,the moderators and admins need to do a better job of making sure that there's no hate and bigotry being propelled on their platforms.

Social media is a tool of common people. It is on people how they use it. A gun is used by a terrorist and an army person but the use depends on their intent of what to do with it. Today the tool of social media has become like gun for political parties, more no. of headcount on either side decides who wins and not who is right. All the four speakers were really good. It's very difficult to decide just one best speaker out of four of them. But since Raghu Karnad said something new that despite social media is a platform for marginalized people, but actually it is people in power who exploit this platform, and vindicate at the end (because they have the resources) by muffling the marginalized voices . Just because of this very reason, my vote goes to Raghu.

Really enjoyed this debate, great initiative NDTV! But choosing the participants in my opinion was a bit too random. Making writer/journalists go against someone who has extensive experience working in the parliament not to forget being an Under-Secretary for the UN seemed somewhat unfair. That is not to discount the experiences or arguments of the journalists who in fact brought up some very good points, we'd see stronger arguments from Dr. Tharoor if someone with a similar background as his would have been part of the debate. Focusing on the issue, I think this was a necessary debate. Thanks!
