I will second this sentiment. When I fish, I go for the beauty and the peace-n-quiet of the sport. I may exclaim a little when hooking into a nice trout or smallmouth bass, but it's about the meditative quality of things. This channel matches my vibe. @ddlk99133 жыл бұрын
it's really time of year (it can be very cold in North Dakota in October) and the fact that so many fisherman in the areas he goes are fishing on boats. Even where he's fishing, if he went up top to the reservoir you'd see some boats but none of them care to stand on rocks. And the rivers he's kayaking in, again most of the fisherman in the area are taking their boats to lakes and hardly ever bother fishing rivers.

Utah viewer here. Great channel, great fish. The one and only time I had a pike on, I was just f***ing around at Yuba Reservoir. Too-light tackle, utterly unprepared for the hit. Big-bodied snake-like fish took my little Kastmaster in very brown water. Managed to get it to shore on trout line and rod, then it touched the rocks and swooshed hard, and broke me off. Seemed like it was three feet long, at least! I should go back and try some time, with better gear. They also have them at Pineview.
