I have a question for Neal Katyal regarding whether or not this 3d indictment trial should be televised: it is my understanding that the victims of crime are allowed to attend the trial; (2) The actions of Trump and his many co-conspirators were designed ti harm our country and Constitution - and our country and our Constituon exist solely for our citizens. So our citizens are the victims of these crimes. As such, shouldn't the trial be televised so all victims can attend? The media will spin what the media will spin, televised or not, but at least give the victims themselves the right to judge for ourselves. After all, it is we, the Citizens of the United States, who will be most affected by this trial.

We should keep in mind that Pence found his spine only after he called others (Quayle and Luttig) and was told there were no other options.

Great show ( for a change). 😉 Always good to hear Neil's perspective. I am all for Trump's trial being televised. I agree with Neil, this the most important case in America's history.

As a newcomer to the podcast, it’s a great - and long overdue - pleasure to hear the voice of Mr. Franken. Brilliant comic timing aside, Mr. Franken was an articulate and thoughtful lawmaker, and his presence in the Senate is sorely missed.

Does our government need to create strong requirements for who can run for the office of President? Also, psychological testing needs to be added.

Sounds to me like something that might be weaponized by a President Trump or some future Republican of his ilk. Say, what if one of the questions was “Can you define what the word ‘woman’ means?”

Dang, I thought Neal was of Greek God descent. Hero Warrior Guy. Al, if this gets cleaned up, the horror scrubbed off the walls of the republican Khaos Klan. Could you think of coming back. I miss you so much.

I think the Secret Service driver that refused to take him to the Capitol should get a Congressional Gold Medal. He probably saved America.

I'm very proud of Neal Katyal. His work for the people of this country is a big part of the legal shield raised for us, the American people and we are wise to be very grateful.

I enjoyed the podcast and as impressed as I am with the esteemed Katyal, a bit of faith in our Democracy has been restored and much will be put right in time probably after the GOP right wing has been overcome. Until then we are destined to crawl backwards into theocracy.

i really appreciate how well Neal Katyal explains law to those of us who do not have law degrees. This is so helpful to the average citizen who wants to put our arms around the current situation that we all find ourselves in. I so appreciate you Neal. Thank you Al for having him on the show.
