He’s legally not even supposed to be staying there longer than 14 consecutive days at a time. He had classified material which he shouldn’t have even taken to begin with stored in what is essentially a public place. He also can’t claim ignorance due to the fact that some of the material was stored in his personal safe. He’s guilty as sin.

Katie, bravo. I am proud of you. Your interview probably is the most needed common sense discussion of this situation. Your interview of Neal Katyal is the clearest explication of what it means for Trump. Whether Trump removed classified materials to hide incriminating material or use the information to make money from the material, the fact that such materials are in his possession illegally over a year he has left office should be sufficient to indict the man. Wise.

Really, current presidents shouldn't have the authority to declassify information either. The classification authority goes thru great pains to ensure the classification is accurate. Anyone desiring to run for president should first have to pass a secret collateral investigation FIRST before approval to run, and a TS/SCI before confirmation. If you're handling the highest classification information, you should have to pass the background investigation necessary to do so.
