If I recall correctly, the cattle rustlers head south with a herd as soon as they round them up.

They need to hide air tags on the cattle.

With the price of meat these days we will probably see more of this happening , with cattle on thousands of acres with no supervision it's bound to happen , guessing probably taken to Mexico or a beer by slaughter house

Now they left loose 14 more wolves to add to ranchers problems along with bears and rustlers!

How dare those damn wolves be alive...damn

Those ranchers need those big guard dogs that every other culture in the world uses to protect against wolves and other potential livestock predators. Quite simple.

The Uncompahgre Plateau is a hot spot for bears. I rode a pool permit helping move cows. One day we found a cow all clawed up, the next her calf all clawed up. They were both hauled to the valley. Not sure how their recoveries went.

200 cows go missing with no evidence of bones or the like?? Sounds like cattle rustling, predators leave signs

Cattle rustling is new??

Its hard on public land maybe install cameras where the herds are grazing at that time if its allowed on public land at least you could get some idea of whats happening

It’s interesting how they are more concerned about the money. Not that they deserve to live and not be used as objects.

Turn hundreds of cattle out on thousands of acres n never check on them! SMART!

I iive on the range in NE Nevada. Herds of cattle are released out here throughout the year...and moved around. And cattle die out here on the range and nothing is done with them. I have to skulls with horns. After the cow is dead for a year or so their hide turns to rawhide...I go out and cut strips as dog treats for them to chew on. And it is a curiosity as to why they are not surveyed or looked after more. What I think is happening is the government offers support and tax breaks for cattle lost. So a lost cow on the range is still money in the back to the ranchers.

@boydwhite3708 FYI-Strips of rawhide not the best for your dogs- vet told me it lays in the stomach n not digested! Cannon bones best - no steak bones! One sliver stuck in intestine n it's game over! They lose control of hind legs!

@@jcpalmer6051 I wonder how that is in contrast with rawhide rolls and bones sold in the stores. I don't doubt rawhide is undigestable...I use big ole metal sheers and still have to struggle to cut the rawhide. I currently have strips that are like 6 inches wide and a 12 inches long...and it not something the dog is eating persay...more like chewing on it. That being said I was going to cut some smaller strips...but per your advice I won't do that now. Thanks for the advice.
