Watching this video for the first time. Claremont's take on what he would love to see in Infinity War warmed my heart. His take on Wolverine appearing like that had me in stiches. His writing is just too good for this world! Wish we got that scene.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This was freaking amazing!!! I don't have the words to praise this interview enough. Omar, I hope you feel very proud and have a real sense of fulfillment for doing such an amazing job. To say that I'm jealous that you got to not only meet the man but spend that time with him goes without saying. Omar, you've done a lot of great stuff for this channel but this blows everything else away IMHO. I wish I could think of something grander to say to you then "Well done" but I'm at a loss for words right now. VERY well done, my friend, VERY well done. #OmarRules

Omar, this one was the greatest interview ever. I had not yet seen an interview with Chris Claremont like this. It's really great that he made his way into comics and wrote so many great stories for X-Men (and others). Great to see his fan side, and also how cool he was for the 2nd part of the interview. It was also great to see him "daydreaming" on how to introduce the X-Men in the MCU, even though I guess that probably the FF will be introduced first. Avengers Endgame is a good opportunity for it, just a guess. I'll be re-watching this video quite a few times. Fastball-Special!!

They kicked a legend out of the hotel? They should be ashamed. This conversation is fantastic. Loving every minute of it. It is funny he mentions how he wanted to bring in a female audience, because one of my best friends in middle and high school was a girl that loved the X-Men as much as I did and it was the only comic she loved. Her favorite character was Storm. So he absolutely brought in women in a way no other American comics at the time did.

EXCEPTIONAL interview with Claremont. This needs to be rewatched a couple of times, as he is really cooking with the comments. I especially liked his choice of casting Bob Hoskins as Wolverine, who would have been amazing. (Think of Hoskins in THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY, PENNIES FROM HEAVEN and MONA LISA.) Omar, you had a really good rapport with Claremont, as he talked about a lot of subjects that were new to me. I also enjoyed how both of you recovered from being chased out of the hotel lobby by some clueless DICK. Thanks for this wonderful in-depth interview with one of the giant creators of Marvel.

This was PERFECT! Bet you were in heaven the entire time. Mr. Claremont is a really funny guy and I agree with what you said. Marvel might own the characters but Mr. Claremont gave them their voices. WELL DONE ladies and gents!
