Getting a little concerned about the Star Wars Epic Collection reprints. Those were moving at a really fast pace this year, but not a single one announced for 2025 😅

I hope that if the line makes it to the end, the Rom epics include Spaceknights #1-5 featuring his kids. The Omnis ended up orphaning the series, and there's not really enough Marvel-published Rom adjacent material to ever do anything with it in that format. Maybe they could stitch together it, Annihilators and Venom: Space Knight into an X-Men Cosmic tier niche weird omni but I don't imagine they go through the effort for something like that. Hope the Epics include them - ideally I want the format to eventually include everything comprehensively, so orphaning material, regardless of quality, is always a bummer imo.

I won't double dip with the omnibus but it's nice to get confirmation that the first YA omni is being split up cleanly into three Epics, makes the most sense. Will wait on an omni like Omar but I gasped at the reveal of the first ASM Big Time Epic, that's awesome to see! Very glad they're finishing out Spidey Deadpool as well, that should be a fun trilogy of books, I'm excited to finally read it all. Definitely eager to get the Thor and Loki Modern Epics, so cool that they're pumping those out relatively quickly it seems

I collect everything up until the early 90s, so I am getting Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, and Guardians of the Galaxy. I already bought the Omnis of Rom and Micronauts but I will buy the Epics as they come out as well.

40:19 Okay but unironically do you think Marvel could convince Hasbro to print a ROM/Micronauts in the Marvel Universe trade that just has all the crossover appearances? So those orphan licensed restricted issues could have a home on a shelf without getting a bunch of trades

Honestly my guess is that the reason they don't reprint the other books with the added material is because this is some kind of limited licensing and they don't want to have to deal with releasing the digital editions or stuff like that again and then one more time when the deal is over and they can't sell them anymore, but I don't know if there's public info I don't know about

Thanks for the video! Announcements day is always a great day. Just 2 epics for me over these months, so not too expensive. I'm really annoyed that those X-Men: Age of Apocalypse collections aren't being rebranded as X-Men Epics. I'll wait until they are before I buy them. ASM Modern Epic 14 was a big surprise! Glad they're releasing at least 2 Modern Spidey epics a year. Disappointed that we haven't got any 90's Spider-Man or X-Men epics so far this year. By the way, Siege of Darkness is Danny Ketch Epic 6, and with the estimated mapping it looks like Spirits of Vengeance will be collected in the Danny Ketch epics. Which is great news. I agree with Omar that it would be a terrible idea to make Spirits of Vengeance a continuation of Johnny Blazes Ghost Rider line.

Of course that Modern Spider-Man Epic doesn't include Annual 38. I don't like the mapping of these Modern Epics :(
