Nearshore Kayak Fishing the Emerald Coast | Chasing HUGE Schools of Fish Before the Dolphins Get Em'

In this video ‪@hookcraft_fishing‬ and I take the kayaks put just off of the beach to chase schools of hungry fish on the sandbars. We had a great morning with lots of fish caught, and even had a pretty awesome encounter with a curious dolphin!

Oh yeah, that's really all that is used in the saltwater realm of kayak fishing, at least in the US market. They are far safer for ocean use as you have a lot more propulsion to overcome current and wind, as well as better steering with the use of a rudder system. You can cover tons more distance in them with ease vs a paddle yak. They are also built to be extremely stable and handle rough conditions for offshore use. I take mine miles out some days. They also of course free up your hands for fishing which is a huge added bonus.
