I understood what Aiden was saying. It’s a good idea. I also like the idea of redoing the internal stairs for safety. Maybe making downstairs the formal kitchen and living room and upstairs all bedrooms and bathrooms? Possibly turning that kitchen upstairs into another bathroom. There are just so many things possible with this house. The upstairs floors were beautiful. Someone else commented that 45k was more reasonable, but I’m guessing there is a bit of a premium for the location and move-in ready condition.

I really liked this house; I liked the idea of making an inner entrance, separating the upstairs of the house, from the stairs going down, where that could be a summer kitchen and lounge, and take down the walls upstairs to give you the open plan like for the kitchen and living room, bathroom. I get what Aden was saying. Fiorella so many possibilities. Ciao.

Great location. I would open up the ceiling in the 2nd kitchen you walk into. For a wide comfortable staircase. And a street foyer on 2nd/ street level would be a good change.

I love the idea of creating bigger rooms, bringing in the light further into the building. Also, budget allowing, I would move the stairwell in the centre of the property, creating a generous internal light well all the way from the roof to cantina level. With the benefit of clement year round weather, could the stairwell be partially open to the outside? The currently windowless inner rooms, could then have windows opening up in a light and vented stairwell. Also, I would install stable style doors, split in half, top with window pane, that can be open, fully or half as required. To keep the pets in and the dust out 🤩

This is a really nice place. I totally get the plan for the upstairs, which would make for a fantastic apartment style top floor. You could then turn the bottom floor into some storage area, another bedroom or two (possibly en-suite), utility area, or possibly a workshop? Or you could turn the bottom floor into a self contained apartment, and rent it out? There are a lot of possibilities... If you did the top floor first, you could still use the kitchen arrangement downstairs while the big room was being made. I'd definitely try to preserve those upstairs tiles for the big room, and hopefully you could make up the rest of the floor space with some matching extras. Do you know if there's roof access? Is the roof flat or peaked? It looked like it would be flat, but couldn't really tell for sure because of the height/angle. It could make for a lovely roof terrace with a pergola, and you could mount solar panels on top of that for your electricity needs - you could add batteries in the downstairs area for power storage too

I believe it does but that's always something that can be discussed with the owner or realtor. There are local buses and inter-town buses that will take you to Termoli, where the train station is. Thanks for watching

I like this one very much. I think splitting it into two apartments would work well. Little more expense doing over downstairs. Where I live in Usa it is illegal to call it a bedroom without direct access to the outside for emergency egress. I would be uncomfortable using rooms like that as a bedroom.

No remove the upstairs kitchen and open that area up. This gives 3 good bedroom and fix the stairs.
