@@juliazimmermann7310 Er ist ein sehr beschäftigter Mann. Da bleibt die Klampfe leider an der Wand und Netflix oder das Fitnessstudio sind am Feierabend die besten Freunde. Damals waren wir noch echte Flitzpiepen, mit Schminke im Gesicht im verschneiten Wald unterwegs, die für solche Hobbys ihre Zeit hatten 😀 Aber man soll doch niemals nie sagen ^^

You're right, brother. Hardly anything can be found about the project. This is the first "release" as a complete demo album. Everything else was just individual demo tracks on his website at the time, Myspace or here on my channel.

He had also searched his hard drives for additional material, unfortunately without results. We plan to distribute the existing material via Bandcamp. Whether there will be another tape later... let's see ^^

Thanks. There was never an official cover. I had to put it together because unfortunately no cassette or CD was ever released. The image is a screenshot of the website from 2004. If I remember correctly, it was created by the then webmaster of the band “Hammerfall”. The same applies to the band logo. I still had the photo on an old hard drive. It was created in the winter of 2003 in a small forest in Saarland ^^

Ich glaube mich auch zu erinnern, dass er damals einige der Songs mit Vocals versorgt hatte. Lyrics gab es definitiv (weiß ich, weil ich sie geschrieben hatte) und es gab Gesangaufnahmen, und zwar im Wald (um an keinem Klischee zu sparen ^^). Leider konnte ich keine dieser Aufnahmen mehr finden. Wie in manchen Kommentaren und in der Beschreibung erwähnt, setzt sich diese Demo aus den Funden dreierlei Art zusammen: Teile, die ich noch auf der Festplatte unter Musik und alten ICQ-Ordnern (fragt eure Eltern) hatte, Songs, die ich mittels Software von Myspace (wer erinnert sich noch) retten konnte und Material, das ich auf alten Samplern in meiner Garage fand (vermutlich noch so ein Klischee). Diese Komponenten bilden das Konglomerat, das wir hier 20 Jahre später vor uns haben. Wer noch Material hat, gerne bei mir melden. Wer weiß, vielleicht kommt ja mal was über Bandcamp.

Very good question. I'll try to recap: 2004 - The “Nebelheim” project is born. 2005 - Astinus (the artist) has a website (Nebelheim.de ???) created where he uploads some tracks. 2006 - Astinus uploads his band's tracks to MySpace. 2007 - Nebelheim.de goes down. silence 2017 - I upload two demo recordings ("Bound the Spirit" and "Engels Deep Fall") via my channel here. Files I found on a hard drive. After a quick search, I discovered some remnants on MySpace, which I downloaded using an app. 2019 - MySpace loses all of its data uploaded between 2003 and 2016. “Nebelheim” also disappears from the site. 2023 - I will upload two demo recordings ("Kaltes Handwerk" and Winters' Kalt") via my channel here. 2024 - You are welcome, brother.
