We have captured only 2 of the 3 fights so far in the christmas dump, we ran out of time to make all 3 a film, so my apologies. Reasons for this: 1. We recorded 999 perspectives as you can see, and going through all of those and lining them up to make a cohesive sequence of events is easier said than done. But, we liked out it turned out. 2. Scheduling these over the course of many weeks was very difficult, with people getting busy with events/vacations/holidays/and so on 3. I was horribly sick during the filming of this, so, that was fun. But all in all, we got this shit done and we hope it raises good money for charity IN the end, victory - AUX Winning 2 of the 3. Glory to the Victors.

Yeah, bringing a battleship is a bit of a meme in Neb, since you're putting all your eggs into one barely mobile basket. And while that is also true for the Container Liner, unlike the Battleship, the Container Liner can project power across the map with it's container volleys, whereas the Solomon only projects power where it's sitting it's fat ass at currently. It's why I named the Solomon Battleship in my meme battleship build the 'ANS Monument To Penile Deficiency'

@@chryssalidbait8765 The only thing I can think of using the Solomon for is having an annoyingly tanky missile bus and it's not even really good enough at that role over an Axford since it doesn't get the extra programming channels. I suppose you could maybe put some size 3 sprint missiles on it for long range pressure, maybe.

You can actually get your battleship to be faster than an Axford heavy cruiser if you use the right modules. Drives and reactors share the same module slots, & the Solomon has 4 of them to the Axford's 3. Haven't played since before the carrier update, but they used to have a role. Solo BB was a meme as mentioned, just because it is so high risk, but it can have good results. Problem is that BBs are too expensive to subject them to the dice roll of "does some enemy happen to show up in a bad spot or not?" It's also easier to bring a scout ship and an EW jammer ship as escorts, as that way you don't arrange for team support to make up for your deficiencies.

My dry rub secret is to straight-up steal the list from Lawry's Season Salt and tack on brown sugar because yes. Obviously, everything's to taste (or smell, since it's a rub) so no ratios, but: Garlic powder, Onion powder, Tumeric, Ground celery seed, Brown sugar, Paprika. What type of meat doesn't matter. After you add those, the meat will be engoodened and is ready for the various individual touches that make it unique.

those CARGO CONTAINER super torpedoes are actually really really fucking nasty if you bring good or decent ones. ESPECIALLY if you mix up types and have one container mount taking super penetrators, with all the eccm ecm, decoys and shit so your ACTUAL torpedoes get through unimpeded.

​@@kybercat7 On the other hand, that can get you literally hundreds of cargo containers. AMMs will be exhausted. Countermeasures will be exhausted. Point defense probably won't be exhausted but if you time things you can have them shooting at eighteen containers at once... they only have to fuck up once, and there's something to be said for the psychological effect of just constantly swarming the enemy. Also if you focus on the ultra-cheap SAH containers you can probably get the full load while still having enough to squeak in an illuminator scout. It won't be great so maybe better to have a teammate do it. Quantity has a quality all its own. (And, in the new update, they're making customizable submunition containers. So you can have not only the standard rockets, but also all types of mine, heavier rockets, and bombs. Not missiles, though, because that's basically just a better hybrid).

Tex, you are bang on about mustard being underappreciated as a rub. Using the powdered version works great, but turning your rub into a sort of paste with some Dijon or English from a jar... Oh my.

Mustard (plain old yellow like French's) and pickle juice is a great binder for a rub. Then I use 8 parts black pepper, 3 parts Lawry's, 3 parts kosher salt, and 1 part granulated garlic. Great brisket rub.

@@refutonefandus I only use French's for hotdogs and burgers, other than that it's English, Dijon or wholegrain. Both English and Dijon are great for a binder, just don't expect it to be calm with English being used as a binder and wholegrain just adds a little bit of heat to a bite when a grain is bitten, if you use a small amount.

Using something that bold isn't necessary. You aren't going to taste a difference. The yellow mustard gives a little vinegary flavor with a tiny mustard tang, coupled with the pickle juice. The point is to give a wet surface that helps the rub stick.

I remember when I played this last with a friend. I had a couple of regular cruisers and he had one missile cruiser and a pair of support ships. When we finally found each other we ended up mauling each other, I had one of my crusiers flee as the other took his only cruiser and the jamming ship down with. Then won the match by cranking the engines to max and capturing enough zones, cause I lost all but one turret on the remaining cruiser.

Make 3 identical 1000-point Vauxhalls with guns on and fly them around in a group… it might not be a good fleet but it’s easy to control and roughly manoeuvrable enough to be SLIGHTLY forgiving
