NEC4 Top Tips

The NEC4 suite of contracts was published in 2017 and whilst it has been described as “evolution rather than revolution” there are some significant changes that users need to be aware of. This one hour session will cover the changes including changes in terminology, communication and payment, new secondary options (X clauses), the deemed accepted programme along with significant changes to the assessment of compensation events and a new final account procedure.

Very informative. No provisional sums is a great idea. I would be interested to find out what an effective NEC4 team would look like i.e the most effective organizational structure; PM, Contractor QS, Contract administrator, Engineer etc. Is there any literature on this?
