This is one of those sets I wasn't aching for when it was announced, but once in-hand I really liked what was offered. Simple character designs, but the paint helps them to pop and the science equipment accessories are way more fun than I would have ever expected. The only drawback there is the little "cork" stopper is actually removable and I dropped that sucker once and cursed myself as I was on my hands and knees trying to find it (I did). NECA is doing a good job of making these B tier characters way more interesting than they have any right to be.

I was about to tell you " they are cheaper" but then I remember this is 2023 and somehow Marvel Legends crept up in price like 5 times already

While I like a lot of what NECA does… they don’t always blow out Hasbro’s offering. NECA lags in articulation specifically.

Both those Neca 2 packs are so good They are 10 times better than pretty much every ML 2 pack I've ever seen Not interested in the characters but the figs are so good I'd get interested I love my sole Neca figure Renet. Didn't know anything about her but she looks great on the shelf Cheers mate 🤘👍

I love the Neca TMNT cartoon line. I don't get them all. I didn't hate April. I mean I'm glad to have her. But the neck was a little long. But it is what it is. Now I'm just waiting for Necas Ultimate release of each turtle. I least want Don and Mikey. But I would like to shoot for all four.

is the plastic similar to the one in marvel legends? they are kinda brittle feeling but is rescued by the matte paint

They're both pvc. Neca used harder pvc though

Man this set looks just perfect love that episode with Monalisa and is a little bit sad because at the end she unmute and becomes a regular lizard sadness. Man the colors on this guy's are just amazing NECA not letting down at all. As always great review and man you should just stop reviewing Hasbro crap I just stop buying that crap, you should get some MOTU reviews man, From NEW Eternia try to get Two Bad you will be surprise, and even if you are not a fan of that IP you will like that figure

This is a great value. I collect both NECA TMNT and Hasbro ML. Obviously, I can't say anything going on with financial decisions by Hasbro (or Neca for that matter), but....I am curious your thoughts on comparing NECA TMNT figures and Hasbro Marvel. Mostly because it seems like the TMNT license seems considerably less to secure (given all the companies producing TMNT figs) compared to the monolith that the Mouse owned Marvel license costs Hasbro (or just about anyone who produces Marvel figs, lest we not forget Hasbro actually also produced TMNT figs via Power Rangers). Again, not necessarily defending the quality of Hasbro ML products must wondering what your thoughts on how equitable this particular comparison is?

It's a cop out. If they weren't going to sell a crapload more of the marvel stuff because it's marvel, they wouldn't want the license in the first place.
