Well it's about time they released the David and Jack figures. I have two Kessler Wolfs with one mouth open the other closed and of course four of the nightmare demons for display. You have to buy four of them to display different heads and guns. Otherwise you have one figure with a pile of asesories. Now I can compare the human David to the lenth of the wolf to see how big that badass was.

Awesome haul, Dean! I just, JUST got the Kessler wolf myself, for the first time ever, and now, you gotta make me want the guys too! lol! Gotta have em! They look great! Just had an added thought, for the blood on Jack, you could use some transparent red and kind of wash it on here and there over the wound areas, tinting them bloody, while not losing the grey highlights underneath. Just a thought. So gotta get these now!

Yes back in the 90’s there was a bbc radio drama of the film and the back story was John glovers character’s brother was the first werewolf they kept him in a institution until he broke out All the actors come back for their roles except David and jack That little tidbit is something I wish they had put in the movie

Great review. The reason this Jack does not have red blood is because he is from the scene in the apartment. The hospital Jack has the fresh kill look with blood. It's a bummer they didn't release that faze of Jack's make-up but with any luck they will release a Hospital 2-pack of Jack and David. Davids blue pajamas to go with the nightmare face they gave us for David. Hospital David with fresh kill hospital Jack.

Great looking NECA figures. I do wish the license for An American Werewolf In London would be picked up by a 1/6 scale figure company, Hot Toys or Sideshow Collectibles for example. I know PCS no longer have the license, so probably nothing more from them. I do have the customs 1/6th scale Kessler Wolf figure on pre_order. He is due to ship Dec/Jan ^_^

I really do like these, but, I do have issues. Only the out of box looks are scene specific, but, they are more pre pub or just post pub. They're not pre attack as they were both soaking wet then. David gets a raw deal as far as accessories go, one head and that's it. Jack gets 2 heads and a torso. You can only ever display rotting Jack solo as the scenes he was in with either head would require different Davids. They really needed to give David another torso and arms for his gilet look. That way you could at least have 3rd stage Jack with him for a Piccadilly set-up. Gripes aside, I will still pick them up as I want to have them together as I remember them from the opening and it's Jack and David, you just have to have them as figures! Great review though as your lighting really sold the likenesses.

Yeah I cancelled mine from BBTS when I saw availability on Aliexpress. Tracking says its delayed via Evri, fingers crossed it hasn't been crushed to a pulp. Incredible sculpts! Waiting on Vincent Price also... Update, delivered today, looks like it's been sat on at some point but no damage to figures...PHEW!

It's not just AliExpress that does that. I've lost track of the number of collectibles I've had to send back to Amazon for shipping a $40+ (or more) dollar figure in a plastic baggie... not even a padded one. It's to the point now that I won't order from Amazon unless it's a figure I want to open and don't care about the package bc I'm gonna throw it away. These look tits! Ordering one today from Big Bad! I remember a long time ago, another company was gonna do these two. There were prototypes of them shown at Toy Fair or SDCC or something. Glad they finally got made. It might be asking for too much, but what about a David in mid transformation figure with swapable body parts so you can make him wolfier and wolfier? It might have to be an exclusive bc he is nude.

This is not true.they tend to release earlier than others are allowed too. So still genuine originals. You can tell bootleg fakes as they look terrible and limbs fall off at the slightest movement.

There's a script by john landis for an American Werewolf 2. The plot has david, and Jack and the girl who Jack mentions at his funeral coming over to London to investigate her friends death, she ends up getting bitten if i remember. Shame they didn't make it.
