I love how the sculpts are sooo accurate to the OG cartoon, if you looked at the original cartoon, all the TMNT were the same skin tone and Leo and Donnie did not actually have sheaths or scabbards for their swords and bo staff, but stored them just at their backs in their belts.

I like the pixels on the tmnt figures. It's very unique and perfectly represents the turtles in my personal favorite tmnt game.

I'm with Dan on this one. I would LOVE to see these figures released again with proper/cartoon accurate paint jobs. I have that bigger Raphael figure from a couple years ago, but I would have preferred a smaller size, to better go along with my collection.

For people saying you cant get these anywhere else but at SDCC you can get the sets from amazon and ebay. People do buy stuff from sdcc and sell them online.

I actually have 2 sets of each I bought from eBay. At first (well, really second [long story]), my plan was to have one set be the Turtles vs. Shredder and 6 Foots and the other set be the Turtles vs. [just] Shredder. Obviously, opening all 4 cases would be required. But then, when I saw the actual size of them, face-to-face, NO WAY will one set of each EVER be opened. These items are just too much on the eyes. Hopefully, I can get just Foot Soldiers from eBay or Amazon, even though it'll cost me yet another buck. Good luck to all of you guys looking to get these. And also, of course, I'm also bummed that non-San-Diegos (or non-Californians, for that matter) had/have to do extra to get these.

Is it me or just is it funny how the ties on Shredder look like he's been tied up? I can picture April finally getting a quip in there, "How do you being tied up" type of quip that is. Okay that aside flashback city to playing this at Putt Putt Golf and Games with 3 guys did not know but still did a great playthru and had a ball seeing all 4 all screen for the first time back then. I have put these sets on my get list for sure. If only someone would do a port set of the Arcade games and maybe updated version of new takes and the third game included.

Actually, they didn't have bright completions in the animated series. Just within the those early video games, the Archie comic series, the anime OAV, and some merchandising. I really wish NECA would make variants of these figures with color schemes more akin to the '87 TV series for retail.

the figures are so effin awesome i have the foot set its my favorite out of all of them i ordered the foot set last october and they re still in the box i thought they were never gonna put them on amazon at all i just ordered the turtles set last friday these are much better action figures that have done in years i hope they come out with another or 2 more sets with bebop and rocksteady,krang and spliter and the 4 set super shredder,april,casey jones and baxter stockman i vote for 2 more sets other then that these are the best figures

Love these. I have full faith they will be sold with regular paint jobs outside of SDCC. I don't think NECA would go to all the trouble that they have clearly gone through to design, sculpt and build these figures to only sell them once as a convention exclusive. They are clearly the classic cartoon turtles, and NECA saw an awesome opportunity to give them their famous video game paintjob. And offering these exclusives before confirming a general release is only building the hype. Brilliant, folks.

God I wish I could own these, they are super awesome. They are the only thing at SDCC 2016 that I would have bought. But looking at Ebay I just can't afford $400. Playmates need to release these to the general public, I just don't understand why they wouldn't want to make a heap of money.

I got both sets on ebay recently for a decent price (about $50 over retail price), considering they were only available at SDCC, and they're normally going for WELL over their regular price online. They were definitely worth it, especially that awesome Shredder!

Dan, can you please confirm that the turtles do not have a torso crunch? Because the NECA comic turtles have that. It is extremely well hidden behind the soft chest front piece.

I almost didn't want to watch this video, since I'll never be able to own these. But I caved and had to check out your thoughts on them. They look great. Not much of a fan of the katanas they gave Leo... They look more like machetes lol. Other than that, I can't see any negatives to these sets. Dan, I'm glad you were able to get these. I guess I'm gonna go back to pretending these don't exist. :runs over to the corner to cry:

I feel that if when these were being teased had Neca said beforehand, "We have a really great surprise of some new figures, but due to licensing issues we are legally unable to sell them anywhere except at the Con. There's nothing more we can do." they could have tempered expectations and maybe so many people would haven't gotten angry. While they did eventually say all this, they said it after hyping everyone up. Anyways I think the packaging is neat and I like the Shredder. but I'm not that into the other figures and guess mostly because I don't really like this game. The X-Men arcade game was the one I loved. If Neca could only make a Dazzler...
