If this doesn't push people to create their own dioramas to display their figures idk what would. That price point is crazy sauce, anyone could do that with 50 bucks of materials and a few hours of work.

@archmage7813 and you are the reason why neca would keep making money off of things that are outrageously priced 😂😂. Skilled diorama makers could easily replicate this diorama and then some. And if you don't want to put In the time and effort yourself you could also commission someone to build it for you 🤷🏾‍♂️

When Ramen (A smaller co.) can give you the Haslab Engine of -Greed- Vengance vehicle,, for $200 w/ all those Extras & way more material(s), it says alot about the New Greedy Face of NECA (like that Comic $150 Turtle 4 pack, for the Exact same figure ×4).

Waaaaaay Over-priced! Doesn't come w/ A TV smh.... Plus the $18 shipping cost & tax, your looking at $340. I been waiting on the Sewer set too... Dam, They knew We all were! Trying to take advantage of TMNT fans. Gotta put my foot down.

@floorboss Well, first of all, the TV comes with the accessory set. Which they are also reoffering. Secondly, this is a direct to market offering, in limited numbers. I don't know where you're getting your numbers from, but they have flat rate 14.99 shipping, and we don't pay tax for online purchases where I'm from. If you can't afford it, fine. Call it what it is and don't buy it. It is a fair price for what is given in mine and many others' eyes. I saw it in person. It's huge and comes with a lot.

1:24 that cardboard background is the from the TMNT2 movie 4-pack. It's the inlay for that box.

It looks like that cardboard insert says "Dockshore club" That was the insert that came with the tmnt2 vhs pack. I'm pretty sure neca is just using it to hide the gaping holes on the other end of the pipe.

The NECA Turtles line of both movie & cartoon have always been fairly priced in my opinion. But this $300 sewer lair is just beyond belief!!!! The Turtle van is $250 & has functionality & led lights. This sewer lair doesn't even come with the necessary accessories to make it look decent so add another $50 for the cartoon accessory set & we're at $350 before tax & shipping. I'm really disappointed & I urge all NECA TMNT TURTLE FANS WORLDWIDE to boycott pre-ordering this in week 1 as I'm sure there will be a 2 week window. If no sales in week 1, maybe NECA might reconsider this outlandish price tag.

This isn’t directly aimed at PD, but it’s a little frustrating when web hosts don’t ask the questions you want answered. I wish they’d advertise in advance that they will be going to a specific event, and want us, the fans, to give them a list of questions to ask the folks that actually made the things, or at most do a pre-interview swoop through first showing the display, then engage with the fans what questions we would like specifically ask during a later actual interview with the peeps that made it. I’ve watched 5 web host talk directly with three different NECA staff members and none seem to be curious enough to really look at display and ask about every possible Easter Egg that would give the fans insight on what’s coming our way. Example: At SDCC’23 the 4 Ultimate Toon Brothers were set up by the Turtle Van, but below was a sewer opening with Toon Leatherhead’s eye’s peering out. No host was curious enough to ask about it. Example 2: Last second of this video we see bomber jacket in Michelangelo holding a doll or puppet that looks like Trevor. What’s up with that? Is this character from an episode? Again, no host seems to be curious enough to pick these NECA Kat’s brains for answers. It ain’t a random placement of stuff going on here. Example 3: Trevor had push lights setup inside the display. Will it come with lighting. If not, share an Amazon link so we can do the same. What does the Van look like underneath, and give us an inside look of that remove roof tile for that grappling hook cannon upgrade, or have them explain where/how the catapult plug-in upgrade connects. Will there be a future DeLorean wheels upgrade pak? We’d like them to know we’re very curious about what they’ve done here and give us more… Again, these are just my minor hiccups when hosts pass up informational opportunities for the nth time. Anyway, Thank You for going there and to SDCC’23 and reporting back on these events.

Can you please ask NECA if they will be selling interior of sewer lair separately as accessory pack (those are like 2 tables 2 lamps 2 sofas and wall decoration/signs) because for $300 that's way to expensive especially when those walls are hollow and sculpted only from one side

I suppose it's the decision between 'do you put it all out at SDCC and make a big splash?' or 'do you keep some back for Power Con and keep people's eyes on you?' and I very much doubt there's a correct answer

4 deluxe releases at the end there.. new accessories.. I just want a good matte finish like the prototypes have, even my disguise set had a spotty matte finish. Also love not to have to pay a scalper to get them.. that would be cool. Red eyes leo and dons spinning bo looked really cool.

Great video as normal. 300 is a bit too much for what we see there so think it’s a pass from me. Last ronin figures a a must tho and it’s great that the turtles are getting a rerelease for those joining the party late. Nice little touch have robot Leo at the end with the red eyes.

We used to love your channel pixel Dane it is ridiculous that you don’t call out NECA for charging ridiculous price just for a bottom piece with a few accessories do you remember the price of the diorama you do an amazing work with this channel but you never call out companies when they do ridiculous stuff like this I was going to buy two of these if the price was around $ 199.00 now I will not buy any I rather support third party company or an individual who will make these for a lot cheaper all of us support NECA but not when they get super greedy

300 is just way too much for what they are offering here.... It's really just a bunch of brick walls (easy to 3D print at home or craft from foam board or similar) and a hand full of furniture pieces. Big miss, Neca.

For any one questioning the price, this is not a mass market item and brilliantly is not a crowd funded project you can simply buy it. Unlike the street scene dio which is multi purpose as it can be used for many other things than tmnt, the animated lair is just for tmnt. When they showed all 3 rooms last year I was expecting for both the living room and the lab to be $300 and the kitchen to be $200/$250 thats still cheaper than if you went to a custom diorama maker for something like this made out of FOAM not professionally sculpted and shaded plastic. This is amazing and hope all 3 rooms get released and the technodrome rooms are on the way right after that.

All their stuff is already overpriced, $60 for deluxe figures, $70 for 2 packs. They keep pushing their prices while people are struggling with making ends meet. $300 is insane, I would have trouble purchasing this at half the price.

Some of yall complaining about the $300 price tag but you know that you are still going to buy it. 😅 There are custom dioramas of this quality on etsy and third party that have been sold for more than $300. I suspect that is how they are coming up with these prices...much like the turtle van when Underground Arsenal listed their van for $200+ so NECA matched the price because people were buying it.
