As a collector of Transformers after watching this review it makes me smile knowing that toy producers are still giving figures pleanty of accessories. Lately Transformers figures only come with 1 to 2 accessories. This is the second video that you've made that I've watched, and I'm interested in collecting TMNT figures, but once again the issue with paint chipping is a bit of a turn off for me. I hope over the last two years since this video came out that their paint issues has cleared up. I've subbed.

My slash's backpack came out of the box the same way... It actually comes off easily if you lift his arm and and start taking it off from under there. Put a speck of glue in the hole with a toothpick and stick the strap back in.

I’ve been wanting this version of Leatherhead since I was a kid! And he’s wearing rubber wader pants, slickers. His hot sauce gun I believe was a flame thrower in an episode

The backpack was fully detached from my Slash in the box. It wasn’t broken, it just seemed to have come unglued, so I was able to glue it back in place. Also, I appreciate the background info you have on Slash from the cartoon! Definitely going to have to track down those episodes!

I love these figures, so far NECA has knocked it out of the park when it comes to TMNT. It's so weird how Slash's belt looks like it goes under his back shell instead of around it

I've been collecting TMNT figures for years now but I just recently picked up my first NECA figures mukman and mondo gecko a couple days ago and I have Metalhead and slash and Leatherhead coming in the mail. These are definitely awesome figures.

Really noticing alot more QC issues with the softer parts of figures and glued on parts on this line hoping it's just due to the rush on demand during the pandemic as I have experienced it with the arcade releases mostly .maybe I'm just nitpicky but Ive had to return for a swap a few times coz the standard for 70 euro two packs I expect a decent figure .

I have had two of my past Turtles figures break now due to the plastic. I ended up selling off all my figures as they are just too costly to replace and with the issues I have seen it just isn't worth the money.

@@jamievaughn1485 I really think it's on certain versions the darker plastic figures I've had for example the toon ones seem to be higher QC I've only had one bad movie Donnie but that was a deformed mold on the shell everything else was perfect

Sucks about the broken part. My Rocksteady's entire left arm from bicep down snapped off out of the package. I superglued it and happily it's fine, but I would recommend putting a disclaimer on all your neca fig vids from now on - bathe all figures in a sink of hot water before use. I did that for all the turtles, bebop, rocksteady, april etc and they're still fully pliable and I would imagine playable. Just a tip, thought I'd pass it along.

I always used a hairdryer, the water didn't help that much, but the hair dryer can cause them to be too plyable. However, I also reached out to the NECA and they replaced my Rocksteady because the entire foot would not turn, even after using knives, hot water, hair dryers etc. They just sent me the body, so I had to transplant my head and arms.

Did you dip rock steady into warm water before it snapped?

@@Guy-mx4fb No, I didn't - B&R were the first pack I opened and, I made the mistake of trying to pose them. Always bathe them in water first. Literally run the hot water in your bathroom sink until it's so hot you can't put your hand in it. Leave the figures in that for a good 5-10 mins and that should ease them up. The only one I haven't been able to do that with is Shredder because of the cape and you can tell the difference.

I used a little UV resin to attach the wires to the backpack on Slash, to make it a stronger connection. I had to do the same with the top strap on Casey's golf bag because that tore it's connection while putting it on. Otherwise, these are fantastic figures (when you can find them).

Brilliant figures. Really some of NECA's best. But, yes, the clip popped off my Leatherhead's belt too. There wasn't much there to keep it connected and my finger knocked it off when moving the belt in place. Minor issue though, just used a little superglue to get it good n'sturdy again.

Unfortunately mine was missing some accessories (slash's rifle and pet turtle and little palm tree, and one of leatherhead's lobsters) which isn't neca's fault since it's seems it was returned. It's a bummer but I still am happy to have the figures on my table :)

Just soft rubber and harder plastic glued together. The wire on my Slash also popped out, so I just used some UV resin to attach it again.

I cannot believe that the only make a run of these (at production) for only a 2-3 months. I need this set as many others do. They are screwing it up bad by hurrying the next releases that soon together. If they only knew.... but then they will sell 1000000 splinter and Baxter sets. Makes no sense how they do this. I’m thankful for many of these. But it’s impossible if your not on they’re short window of time to buy them.

Just some (who really cares lol) info I wanted to say. The rifle thing they have is a 'hot sauce' flame thrower. You got to see them use it in their last appearance on the show. Really late in the series, where a lot of the voice actors weren't the same (like Shredder and Leatherhead). I'm pretty sure those would be crawdads and not lobsters; due to the whole Cajun food thing, so not Creole. There's a lot of differences between those two cultures in Louisiana. And I know Leatherhead is a Florida Gator, but took on traits from a Cajun guy.
