Ok, I'm impressed with that pulley mod. I watched the video several times and focused on the the machine's sound as it stitched at the lower speed - as you say in the video, "smooth," very smooth.

Can you give me the parts sources I need to add this to my machine? It looks like you have a stub shaft mounted with equal length belts. These look like 1 to 4 and 1 to whatever the clutch pulley is.

Has anyone tested one of these for lead? I'm currently eyeing one for sale with very chipped paint.

Any links to the wheels used for the modifications?

I just picked up one of these, really like the pully modification made. I think part maybe the Sailright speed reducer for their machine to sew leather. Anyone knows please let me know.

I want to make the same modifications on my Necchi. Would you share how you did this/do you have instructions and a parts needed list? Thanks. J. Thad

I just bought one of these that I'm refurbishing. Is there any way you could share how you did this and the parts? I'm an artist and I'm working on a project, so I need the sewing machine to have some super power. Thanks

I have one BU Mira also and I could sew leather. What needle size you use to sew leather?
