Love the idea and rules behind these guys. I really want to run an Ash Wastes campaign for a season that then becomes an Underhells campaign for "season 2", and the Ferrymen are the bridge between the two worlds. Reckon that would be a cool way to integrate them. But thanks again for the rundown Damon. Your service to the Necromunda community is so appreciated. 🫡

I like that they gave the Custom Rig a proper points cost, so it effectively allows rig-sized custom vehicles to be taken in any Ash Wastes campaign.

when my group does a underhells campaign I'm going to provide a ton of my kitbashed minis as ferrymen. A lot of people in my group just aren't into kitbashing as much as me and don't all have the money to get a new box just for necromunda

Very nice overview, as always :) Agreed, I'll definitely be converting at least a few different Ferrymen 'crews/Rigs', at least one Goliath themed for my main gang and another 1-2 gang-agnostic crews for my other gangs or to lend to other players for our campaigns (for now I am thinking one 'prim and proper' ex-guard team to accompany 'Lawful gangs' and one more raggedy/scavenger themed team for 'Outlaws'). Keep up the good work and cheers! :)

Yes, kinda, you could skip the first third of the campaign if you wanted

​@wellywoodwargaming first two thirds... the second phase uses Escape the Zone and Lost in the Ruins in its missions, which are both Ash Wastes battlefields. You could still do it, but you'd just need to completely excise all the Ash Wastes scenarios from the campaign entirely. Might be a bit samey, early on, though.
