Saw someone saying both monogamy and polygamy fail, but marriage is not the problem. It's the absence of "grounded" consciousness and authenticity in more people than not, that causes issues in, in fact, all human inter relationships, generally. So people think being smart or "doing their best" makes relationships work, but no, there is a method to the madness. Unfortunately, most people aren't self aware enough and therefore are generally reactionary, and, or, following the norm. Relationships cannot thrive this way; sure they can manage for a while but eventually WILL still crumble.

Polygamy is not forbidden even in the New Testament except for people who are/want to be leaders in the church. People should practice what works for them when it comes to marriage. We just recently had a trending story of over 400 mature, educated, working and married Black African women cheating on their respective husbands with one man. It benefits men less because apart from polygamy causing shortest of women for other men who many of the women wouldn't choose to settle down with to struggle to get wives; the polygamous man also faces the challenge of treating all his wives fairly and equally before the Lord. I am an eyewitness of DNA tests of children belonging to three men. One of the men with three wives and eleven (3, 5, 3) children, has all the children from all his 3 wives belonging to him. But for the other 2 men who are monogamous husbands - for one, only 1 out of his 4 children was proven to belong to him, and for the other man - none (zero) out of the 3 children belong to him. Women in polygamous homes/marriages are more faithful than those in monogamous homes. Apart from the women getting the gbola they prefer and having their needs met by a man they choose to share, there is a psychology behind this also: women compete more with themselves - they dress up to compete with one another than they do it for a man to see. Women in polygamous homes do not want to disgrace themselves amid their co-wives, whereas women in monogamous relationships care less as their competitors are mainly other women out there, and so they do not mind continuing to explore new experiences outside their marriage.
