Ned rig is my favorite technique to fish. I also have some awesome new baits from Japan to try out this year. Not to mention the 90mm Berkeley Gilly and the best way to fish it that I discovered last summer. This year I'm predicting a an 8 lb beauty or 2.

I cut those to little flaps off that stick out from the sides and fish it on a naked chatterbait head. The hook is semi weedless fitting into the cavity on top but…….I haven’t caught anything with it yet 😢

Little late to the party, but saw your comment about Japan. I recently ordered the Piku Piku by Jackal from Japan and it catches fish like crazy. Throw it on top of schooling fish or under cover and it’s almost a guaranteed catch.

I use ned rig jigs with chartreuse and white curly spinner tail grubs, bass and crappie tear em up.
