I hope that through the talks that took place at Criterion will make the devs finally come to their senses, but I think you, Kuru and the many others who attended made them do so. I imagine it was an experience you won’t forget. I guess one or two small things I would’ve asked for Unbound’s improvements would be the option to have manual on certain cars in our collection, like how NFS 2015 did and an option to create a playlist with the existing game soundtracks and remove the 12% (8/69) of garbage there is in it. Kinda like how the old NFS games did and Midnight Club LA. (I know the soundtrack thing is childish, but I doubt that would be a possibility. I don’t really like talking about this whole Unbound soundtrack issue, but this is me voicing my take on Unbound’s improvements.) What’s your take on my suggestions for improvements? Thank you also for your comment! Hopefully there will be a livestream on your channel when the update is active! IDK if you plan on doing crossplay and inviting subscribers to your session. Everybody talks about the Classic era, Underground era, and Hot Pursuit era. But my favorite NFS game is The Run. I want to see the cinematic aspects of that games, as well as the unique spec cars, make their way into the future of the franchise. Dynamic soundtrack, draft feature, time trials, large multi-event championships, the challenge series, etc.

I think it's just too complicated to do with todays graphics, there's no place for low res expanded textures and low polygon models. Only way I see this is jumping like every 10-20% instead being able do go from 0-100%. just having 5-10 preset variations to most parts.

@@203tron actually incorrect. game engines can use predictive filling for renders and textures in between several pre-created ones using an algorithm to fill in gaps for a seamless 0-100%, unreal engine 5 has really good tech for this. im sure frostbite does it. this helps with creating custom objects much quicker as well as animations. im sure an AI version is coming if not already existing to help correct objects to auto-optimize polygons and smoothness detail.

Drift control wise, yes Heat is leagues above Unbound. I can't drift my RX-7 in Unbound like I do in Heat which is weird. Also more race tracks for drift races, I find it funny that we have ONE drift track outside the track itself. XD

Tune properly amd the drifting feels great.. put the slider around 35 to 50 drift and put the downforce preety high up with on road tires... maybe onroad suspension or stock and try drifting.. use the silvia

TBH Rivals and HP were best nfs games, post black box era. Sure rivals had bugs and performance issues but epart from that its great game. My favourite is HP, mainly because i was able to play as a cop and weapons were very well balanced and multiplayer is blast. Rest of NFS games since than felt boring just bland racing and no action whatsoever. Also hate how nfs unsuccessfully chases NFS underground vibe but failed every time because they were very well suited their era at the time and cant be recreated, even if they do it wont be same.

I'll admit, this game fell off for me. I haven't played since the Maybach update, my friends had more fun online in Heat than Unbound so we never played that, and the game just wasnt that fun. But im so glad to see that the studio hasn't given up even though they've probably been cut in half by EA and Battlefield. how about we get the 8 player party sizes back, in-game voice chat and text chat capabilities? ya know, like how pretty much every single other EA title has? idk maybe copy and paste the way battlefield does it? or be the first triple A racing game to do Proximity voice chat. Only talk when close or with a radio you must install in the car as an ability in the auxiliary slot to talk far away. anyone with the radio auxiliary can talk in races and free drive to one another or, people within their group with it installed can communicate. do away with the stupid party only global and make it more interesting. hell with cops vs. racer you can install a radio scanner to hear the enemy on either side as an aux slot too. just a thought. then people wont be just using damage aux and nitro aux. theyll want a comms aux player and everyone will run comms aux slots of some kind if they want to talk. also let us pick our damn input and output devices in SETTINGS. my elgato mic has never worked on unbound since day 1. the game cannot handle audio splitting software or virtual audio devices at all when auto selecting the default device.

This just went free on PSplus. allot of noobs like me just got it and will be looking for information like " how long to hold or bump the brake to initiate drift? Do I use the e brake? How and when to use the boost button. I'm having trouble understanding the very basics. The game is brilliant in many ways but its short on tutorials or explanation.

I just want them to make the race meet ups to allow us to race with everyone in the game, rather than the 15 other players in your session. Most of the time they do link ups or stay in garage and NOT race at all. I really like racing in B tier and there is now way for me to join a session that has players that play those specifically. My play time in the game is 50% waiting for someone to join my B tier playlists. You should still connect on 16 player sessions for Link ups and free roam, but racing should be global.

The main issue with NFS Unbound is, in my eyes, theres no good way to reliably play races. Theres no matchmaking and servers being 16 people limits whos doing what. They can add whatever cool stuff they want, but building off this foundation of complete server-based gameplay sucks. In fact, just adding more events dilutes the server even more.

Still the biggest issue with Unbound remains splitting online and offline mode, and so all the online cars being locked behind challenges. Unless they somehow merge them back I don't see the player count going up by much

That's exactly the reason why I'm having a hard time seeing myself coming back. All the updates for Year 1 were online focused. As a mostly singleplayer gamer, I just felt spat on... considering how lackluster the campaign mode ended up being.

what i want to see coming back is cops being actual cops and start pursuing you if they see you speeding or them being able to remember the car you're driving, also add stakes to the pursuit, bring back the 3 cross system, after the 3rd cross you loose your car, and before the 3rd arrest, make people pay tickets based on the damage you cause to the furniture/cops cars and how high the heat level is, bring back pursuit breakers as well, find a way to implement them online or make pursuit playlists for multiple players just like in most wanted except here its multiplayer, the game feels extremely dull if there are no stakes at hand, you should not be relaxed as a street racer, thats not immersive.

I honestly want the blacklist, pinkslips,new npcs (at least 50), crews (like carbon), High risk races (200k+ bets), black market parts, street kings/legends (separate from crews , so once you defeat a crew the king/legend of that area challenges you to a best of 5 pinkslip series like pro street) , much more parts/wheels, interior customization (we don’t necessarily need to have an interior view but the option to put a sound system, lighting, or even nitrous bottles in would be very nice to know I can do), and there needs to be a lot more life in the game a race shouldn’t only be happening if I’m in it the should npcs running there own head to head, group races, and running from the cops but I think they need to focus on stuff like this for single player because nfs never really felt like much of an online game imo
