Just saw a test of a 2025 GR Yaris 8AT at the ring. Please post a video of you driving one.

Send an email to Toyota. Will gladly do it if they lend me one :D

a few degrees less air temperature would have helped a little. Always good!
@GreatMotors5 ай бұрын
That's correct. When the flap on the stock intake opens it sucks up quite a bit of hot air. Looking maybe for a different intake.

shifting in manual gearbox is slower than shifting automatic, the new automatic gr yaris should be much faster than yours, hope u can test it some day At the end you got close to the gt4

very doubtful... in any case, fun at the track it's not only about laptimes
@aaronx1375 ай бұрын
@@MrVaderino if you wanna have fun, sure pick a manual, but if u want faster laps most automatic gearbox will help for that.
@AbrahamArthemius5 ай бұрын
@@MrVaderino Of course it's gonna be more fun with the manual, but he's not wrong though. Since we're talking about the need for more power or faster response, the revised GR Yaris with the new 8AT will perform better than the manual. Sadly because of EU's ever stricter emission regulation, the revised GR Yaris in Europe have 280hp instead of 300hp like those in Japan or some other markets

Do not change the software! New engine costs 32.600€ plus installation 🤯 By the way: no warranty from Toyota at all, as soon you drive the GR YARIS on race tracks 😂
@GreatMotors5 ай бұрын
Not changing the SW :)! As for the racetrack warranty, I have information exactly to the opposite. Toyota would cover it (as long as there is no SW etc).

Thats not true, stock car on track with full warranty by Toyota.

Or try to squeeze out a bit more power with better intake and turbo inlet pipe since GPF del wouldn't be legal.

What with all the yellow being displayed at the ring at the moment, the last couple of video have all been in the same place and the Foxhole.
@GreatMotors5 ай бұрын
People consistently send it too hard. If I remember correctly on this one there was a beached car in Aremberg, and a BMW scattered parts on track on top of the foxhole.
@ringevo64295 ай бұрын
Watched a lot of your laps, you certainly know how to drive, and are very capable around the track, but why gloves and shoes and no helmet? You reach some very high speeds. Be interested in your opinion.
