@@sherryjackson8474 Nursing is a super flexible career, with a wide variety of specialties. It's not just "hospital or home health." You just have to gain experience in the field before applying to specific areas of interest. For example, if you don't like working in hospitals and are interested in the legal aspects of healthcare, you can become a nurse legal consultant. If you like research, you can become a nurse researcher. If you are more interested in being an educator, you can become a nurse educator or become a public health nurse and teach communities on different. The list goes on. IDK if this answers your question or not

I can definitely agree with that. A lot of nurses I work at my current facility are only in it for the $$ and benefits (I work in a CA state facility).. I hate their attitude and mistreatment of the patients. It really makes me not want to continue in nursing.

I noticed that I had no compassion from management when I just lost my baby girl this week. I was 25 weeks pregnant. I was emailed asking when I'm coming back next week! I'm NOT going back. I haven't even laid my daughter to rest let alone heal or mourn. Smdh

This was a very informative video, Mercy (love your name because as a Christian, it automatically makes me reflect on God’s mercy over my life🙌🏾). That's Right On!! I started as a Medical Assistant. Got tired of that low pay fast. Went to Nursing School, graduated and my salary seemed to increase overnight! My Dad always told me, "The more you know, the further you go, and the more you learn, the more you earn $$$$$$$$$$....

Im a cna goin into nursing been an aide for 15 years....i have seen younger nurses....as a nurse find out wat the problem is with ur aides..communication...do u help answer call lights??? Because everybody can...Not Just Aides!! Do u help at all besides pass meds..ie help pull a patient up in bed etc...my assignment is f*d all the tyme because the young nurse jus say oh they dont listen.....um ur the nurse start writn people up.....Your*re a supervisor Act like it

Your hair are goals💜, being in the nursing program the stress level of is a 10 times two haha it’s so much material to learn, my thing I struggle the most is coordination, when it come to performing certain skills like blood pressure or Foley. I don’t like my disability to define me I like to challenge myself that’s why I haven’t gave up on my dream of becoming a nurse. With that being said, what would you recommend I do to master those skills and future skills moving forward in the program once I go back?

I went to college straight out of high school for criminal justice.... I went for 4 years... I’m 67% complete. After two years, depression took over and my grades drop drastically. Now I’m 23, and I’m thinking long and hard about LPN... I have always been good at science , I care people and I want to make a difference. I’m just unsure... but it keeps calling me.

I’m 19 and 2 classes away from finishing my prerequisites but A&P 2 is kicking my butt! I’m more than likely going to take it again next semester, but I feel like if I can’t handle it now I shouldn’t try to keep pushing.
