Needing a Very Particular Treatment

Father Mark you are so right. We have been blessed to find a small rural community in California and have been raising our family here. My children notice the difference immediately when we go to the suburbs and the big cities. The noise, the crowds, the dirt. My children don't want any part of it. My daughter commented that here at home, she can hear the flapping of the crow's wings when it flies over her head. There is a quiet and a calm that allows you to focus on God and his creation.

Powerful and challenging! I my prayers, why do i assume I know what I need? Is it not logical to ask my creator what I need and listen? Am I too afraid to ask because I have no idea what he will say or ask of me? Do I have the courage to sit in silence with God? Lord, give me the courage to trust you enough to be opened !!
