EXACTLY! All those tiny needle books everyone has! They’re so small!! I do hand embroidery and I have LOTS of needles going at the same time. I’ve been working on making myself a functional, useful and pretty needle book. Your video is just what I needed! Love it!❤❤❤

I have both size needlebooks...large and small. The small books are great to take with you if you are in a waiting room, on a train or riding in a car. Very useful and far less worrisome because if it is accidently left behind, I haven't lost my whole needle stash.

Just found your tutorial and even though I don't usually comment, I was very excited for your ideas. Many of the ones I've seen are more pretty than useful for actual sewers who do need some basics at hand. Before I saw this, I made one that has many pockets so that I can fit in those small packages of needles and pins or some buttons, or put them in little plastic bags. This way I reduce the risk of getting stabbed with sharp things and having them fall out. I also made some little cardboard tags to wind some basic thread colors in case I need to fix something or have the thread available for a project I'm working on, I'll have to try to find those tiny cutters. Your choice of fabric is beautiful, especially the one with the dragonfly and quilting a small project is more manageable for me. I'll have to make a quilted one next. Thank you again for sharing your creativity!

The bag idea can be created with a fabric placemat from Wal-Mart, we made these at a women's retreat. We used ziplock bags stitched down the center of the folded placemat. Just a thought. Enjoyed your video. 🐝

I really want to make myself a slow stitch kit like yours. I went on Etsy to try to find some "heavily felted wool" scraps for sale. But no one lists them as heavily felted. How can I find the right kind? I have a couple wools sweaters I shrunk, but not sure about those, either. Any advice? Thank you.

I’m so sorry I missed your comment/question. By heavily felted I mean the fibers are tight. I wash all my wools in hot soapy water in washing machine and then the clothes dryer. Some come out tighter than others. It depends on the fiber content.
