Dystopia often looks at the silent seeds of problems in the modern world and extrapolates what the results of those seeds shall be, hoping to warn people as to the danger of those seeds. Sometimes people listen and change the course of history. Other times, the seeds germinate, take root, and grow. The question then becomes whether or not the garden can still be saved, or if the problems have grown too large and the garden is doomed to collapse, forcing us to look for a new garden. If that makes any sense.

@olimar7647
@olimar7647 10 ай бұрын
@Redwan777 Lol, it was a metaphorical description, not a visual, so the AI wouldn't understand for sure. Basically, the seed could be any number of issues. Say, corporate manipulation of the masses via algorithms. We already have that in our world; this very app we call KZbin is using algorithms to try and maximize our usage of the app and guide us towards spending more money on the app or its partners. So, dystopia looks at that problem and says, "Let's take this to the logical extreme. Imagine a world where algorithms are used to play people like puppets, where screens dominate every surface and force people to constantly consume propoganda and advertisements, and where technology and science have perfected this art to the point of effectively stripping people of their humanity and rendering them into slavish zombies."

Yeah I see, it does look like the definition of "far left" varies between Western Countries. In the countries you mentionned, parties more lefty than the greens or liberals either do not exist or are very very minor. I already mentionned France, but in Spain, Izquierda Unida and of course Podemos play important roles. While mentionning Syriza in Greece. I guess that in America, if people call SJWs far-left, then I'm certain they already forgot who was/is even more lefty than SJWs, talking about Occupy Wall Street and the Communist Party of the USA

Explanation of the video: The man on the right. Far right politically. The woman on the left. Far left politically. Each in the middle is moderate right, moderate left. Essentially while the two opposites are going after each other getting nothing done, the two moderate's are actually going up. The moderate right stays out of it and makes it to the top, but unlike his extremist counterpart, he's willing to sacrifice some to help out the lower player to give back and help out. The far left sees it as an abuse of privilege and attacks him instead, causing him to almost lose all his work. Realizing he has no other options, he's forced to play the Trump card against his prior wishes. This, of course, causes the left, moderate and extreme to lose it all. Leaving the moderate leftist struggling the most, still below the extremist who caused it while the moderate guy is saved, and the privileged right extremist to come out on top as well. Very good demonstration of how the intolerance of the far left, pushed caring and hardworking citizens to vote for Trump causing the rival to win, and their "comrades" who really wanted to make it up the ladder to fall. All predicted before the election was even done. Well played.

You Americans have a weird definition of the "far left". In Europe and France at least, SJWs are considered to be at the left, because of their thorough engagement on what they call social equality without bothering even a bit about economic equality. In France, the far left is definitely concerned with economic issues, with the most lefty parties in France being the Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste and Lutte Ouvrière who, being trotskyist, promote a proletarian rule over the interests of employers. Something SJWs always shut up about.

Not really, all it shows that people that are unfit to succeed by themselves are usually left leaning and will use any tricks to bring successful people to their levels (women, minorities, LGBT), where on the right you have the majority, self-made and hard working people that don't want to give away what they worked for to ungrateful and lazy people.

Very biased, Bmwmotorsportguy, uh :p ? I consider the main problem with the right wing to be that it blames the human nature and character of the individuals for the situation they're currently in. I am fully aware of the impact overall misbehavior can have on someone's life, but in the name of solidarity, they should be helped from their own demise. And most importantly, context and environnement also plays a big part. You can be rich AND lazy all your life if you're born in a wealthy family and act ungratefully while living on heritage. You can be poor AND hard-working, born in a poor family, trying to get your way out in life but with it not smiling back to you, whether it be extremely low-paid and full-time jobs or life accidents. Karl Marx has done some interesting analysises that need to be taken into account. And perhaps the most important thing I think people should learn, is about the "theory of action" designed by Pierre Bourdieu.
@edgarlazocordero
@edgarlazocordero 7 жыл бұрын
Slightly Leftist To Some Of You You only should give good education to people which can't afford it, that's how you can come out of nothing and end up being very productive if you wish so. I live in one of the most poorest countries in the world, of a poor family, and my grandmother studied and worked very hard to have a better life and succeeded, and her only difference between everyone else born with similar conditions was that she wanted to study, she didn't have any open doors, she pushed to open them. In contrast, those who accommodated, generally because they received social help like food, money and lands, but didn't studied, rarely came out of poverty. But as you mentioned, those lazy kids born in a wealthy family that accommodate to their lifestyle and live only by their heritage without being productive tend to end their lives broke. Where I go is that human nature of the individuals is one of the most important things that defines if someone can or will be successful, and that can be strongly bounded to the individuals culture, I have seen in hundreds of times with my own eyes, people of minorities born in very bad conditions going up in their lives only differentiating from the rest by their will to learn, work and succeed, but that's not the case with most of them because people prefer to blame someone else for their lack of will and their imminent failure. Before you say I have a bias because of my political stance, I don't have specifically one, but I'm used to seeing that people think that by this way of thinking or seeing things I'm on the right, but I don't have and "ideology" that I particularly like, in a test it came out I'm in the center, being the 4 sides of the graph left-right-communist/socialist-capitalist, but I only use objectivity, logic, reason and evidence.

There is several more can be recycled from the original deck due to global warming and forest saving measure. In all honesty the far right one made much better points than the far left one though, so not entirely equal footing. He was very aggressive and intolerant but he spoke facts and reason. Yet the far left just spoke out of feelings that have no place. Goes to show how more reasonable the far right is compared to the far left even still they both are extreme. It also shows how the far left backs the moderate lefts decision when ever faced with ideas that really make no sense. Like using race as a factor for climbing up, or transgender-ism. The most reasonable here is the moderate right, he decided to help the lower class with the wealth he accumulated, and was forced to use the trump card based on falsehood by the far left. This whole video shows how the political game is played nowadays, I personally like the middle guy since he just watches the whole thing and only uses the rules to judge someone. I know this is a lot lol, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on this.

I feel like the last comment of "It's just a game." describes the way most people in politics seem to behave. They act like this is some kind of game where winning is all that matters, and don't bother to consider the consequences of their actions, about whether lives could be ruined or lost.

Just quick thought; Maybe it has to do with cancel culture or something? Where companies and everything will cut ties with a “cancelled” person in order to avoid backlash, negating connections and resulting in the person to lose money and fall down the social/economic steps.

@@IsraelCountryCube I believe that all people regardless of race or gender should be treated with respect, but the Democrats have been going crazy with this. They think they are helping, but they are not. They fail to acknowledge that there's higher and lower classes when it comes to income. How will the lower income communities improve if the Democrats don't acknowledge that? They choose to ignore problems instead of finding solutions.

This was totally genius. The far left girl was outspoken and ridiculous. All she did was complain about inequality instead of actually playing the game. Whenever she did play a card it was to drag the players down, not being herself up. She also silenced the center left player, making all the issues about herself or both of them. Far right was just as ridiculous as far left just in another way. He was very selfish and argumentative. He also got lost in the fighting and didn’t play that much just like far left. Center left was stuck in the fray. Not having the opportunity to speak due to far left and not having a chance to play because of getting stuck in the arguments. Center right was the most productive of the lot. He didn’t involve himself in the arguments, opting to play the game instead. This is why he won, because he didn’t get distracted like his fellow players. When he did win, he decided to restart the game because he believed it was the right thing to do.
