Riverside Hotel is not new. I stayed in 2007. There was no V Hotel next door. To block the nice Mekong views from some rooms facing g it. Riverside seems to be nicely renovated now but the TVs by the bedside are funny.

I have been to Laos. Sorry for the bad comment. I do recommend all the hotel in Laos, should have curtain put on the shower room, so when the customers shower, the water doesn’t splash outside the floor. Customers would really appreciate it. Thank you.
