This is by far one of the funniest cheeses I've seen in a while. The only think that would make it better is if the main demon type attacker was level 1, so it was the weakest it could ever be. Great video, dude!

Thanks for this video. It´s quite interesting. Someone mentioned that there´s a cap, I think of around 30 attacks (tested with Heroic Kresh); you can actually die against a team with Varian, when he uses Retaliation (there´s a moment when your demon stops before attacking, and it becomes vulnerable to Retaliation. I guess it´s the same against Trigore with Backslash); It seems that you need Neeru active (not on the bench) to apply his passive (demon immunity while attacking) (unlike Cookie´s Appetizers)

Ran this 7-8 times on different heroic bounties. Only got to the death twice. That being said, still won all but one game. Solid deck even without treasure. The loss was heroic lokalar with lokalar in spot trying to unlock his gear.

I can't thank you enough for this video. I had nearly two dozen pieces of equipment locked and it was really time consuming trying to unlock each one with the most suitable comp. In a single day I've unlocked nearly every single piece of equipment for every single merc with very minimal effort using this comp. Even when I don't get the essential treasure, the comp still performs strong enough to beat most bosses without it. This will definitely get nerfed in the next major update, so everyone should definitely take advantage of it for as long as they can! Thank you thank you thank you. So much!

Played half a dozen different heroic bounties and never got the „To the Death“ treasure, so I assume its probability was nerfed. But instead I got the Nemsy passive treasure that restores 40 health (!) when a taunted character is damaged every single time. With this in play you can use Nemsy‘s 3-speed ability to give taunt to all your mercs and the party will become pretty much invincible. So all in all this comp felt extremely solid, reliable and versatile.

I found a way to make that comp even invincible. When you get the nemsy treasure "give 7 health back to a taunt who got damaged" + the Trigore treasure that "put your health to 4 but you only take 1 damage at a time". If you combo theses two and use the nemsy power that give taunt+10hp to a minion on Trigore, he becomes unvincible and scale indefinitly in attack with his 1 mana backlash. I was grinding a lot using that to the death method but was unlucky on many runs, that strategy gives you another way to cheese but you still need to get lucky and have the right treasures! Hope it will help some people!

I honestly think Nemsy might be stronger than Baine for protecting and enabling trigore. Nemsy + Trigore + something is solid for most fights in the game. Even not hitting the treasure I seem to be able to beat most heroic boss fights. Balinda done killed me good without to the death. Mayvbe Nemsy on the left, Baine on the right would get healing along with protecting and enabling Trigore, because Neeru on the right works in a lot of fights, and he can't create damage or heal on his own. Maybe subbing in feather for grounding totem, because it takes away from the activation while the totem is alive, but Baine can provide better healing when needed.

@@mrmyz8299 Yeah, yesterday in the afternoon when I was getting everything ready for the comp (leveling mercs unlocking equip) I got Till death couple of times. It's really sad when you die to hc Dre'thar because you learn that even Till Death has a max number of attacks. But ever since I got all the mercs at 30 and the right equip nothing about yesterday evening. I feel like the probabilities changed between those times.

I did a couple of runs with this Comp but never got the "To the Death!" treasure... It might be fun if you are lucky enough to get this treasure, but it seems to be much more consistent to just play another party and staff it explicitly for the boss you`re going to face.

Hey OG, have you tried any rattlegore comps out yet? Been playing an Old Gods/Rattlegore/Bench Summons comp with Rattlegore, Y'shaarj and Yogg, with Brightwing and Maestra getting summoned off the bench after rattlegore dies. If you can kill off gore turn 1 then you get a 5 merc Rage Unbound turn 2. And if you don't need a carry slot then you can also run medivh for the caster stats. Not the most consistent comp but I've been having fun with it.

I've been waiting for an update on "best PvE-comps" after the newest mercs had been introduced, because I wanted to know, what you would say about a Fel- or Attack-demon-composition... too bad that it never came, as I wanted to answer there that Neeru's "your DEMONS are immune while attacking" is not related to his Imps alone ! So I was already thinking about combining either Rathorian or Mannoroth together with Neeru, especially when I also checked the treasures that these can also get the "to the death"-treasure, was really exciting to read... but as always, I had the impression, that I couldn't find the final parts to make the comp working and didn't rush to post the idea on any other video, as the topic was not fitting.... about the "can get damage while attacking": this CAN happen with certain enemies, but only with those that "react to receiving damage". Best example would be the Cow King, who destroyed my King Krush, who was "immune while attacking" (by King Mukla), but the Lightnings of the Cow King were shooting like crazy and damaged Krush in this short moment after the attack, before starting the next one.

My favorite PvE comp is Murloc Holmes cheese. It relies on the current bug where bounty enemies don't unfreeze while on the bench. But it doesn't need any treasures, mostly ignores boss passives, and it kills almost every boss before they act.

I also found another possibility to use "To the Death" Treasure. The Comp for this is one which includes King Mukla and King Krush. You use Muklas third ability on Krush, while Krush uses "to the death", because Muklas third ability makes Krush immune while attacking. Any other options, besides these 2?

Yes, it can increase the odds a bit. You are going to get one offer for each of you Mercs first, and then you can get duplicates. You will mostly go through 6-7 fights during a bounty. So you can get one extra reroll, which can be for a Demon 40% of the time.

the most broken comp in PvE, is old gods... they kill everything in turn 2, regardless of color, or what treasures you got. They are expensive, however: being all legendary. You can even o this cheese with them too. N'zoth can also give "To the Death" to his immune minion.

You need to defeat Heroic Darkmoon Rabbit with Neeru in the party (can be on the bench or even dead by the boss).

There seems to be a cap on how many attacks are possible. Tried it on Drek Thar heroic and it stopped midway.

Yes, there is a cap to prevent infinite loops. However, Rathorian's damage scaling for Demons ensures that you will not hit the cap in any encounter, even Heroic Drek'Thar as you can see in the video.

This cheese is in the game since mercenaries came out. At the start it was that specific treasure + King Krush / Primal Power from King Mukla.This one has an advantage though, it can be done on turn 1, Primal Power activates only on round 2.

Fire is the most universal one. Balinda/Ragnaros/Geddon. There is nothing quite as universal as demon cheese.

Possibly. We do not have comprehensive data on the new treasure pools yet. Luckily, my bounty guides were made based on potentially having no good treasures. But this specific comp obviously depends on the treasure.

Ahune does not die to the combo at least, although I guess you can just play normally against it. If you get To the Death on Mannoroth, so you need to bring Neeru, Rathorian (for damage scaling), and Mannoroth, there may also be bosses that kill someone on turn one before 7 speed. If you get it on Rathrorian and can bring Nemsy for defense, I don't think anything can kill the combo Mercs.

so....Neeru + Mannoroth + Rathorian.....+ Mukkla + Krush + Xuen....double the chance for immune comp......except for boss that annoy me imma stick to Galvandar, Trigore, Valeera, Maestra composition + 2 additionnal mercenary at choice to get extra coin(preferably 2 that are helpfull vs specific boss)..like Y'Shaar having khadgar to keep him root is a good choice if need coin for him XD

extra post after looking in the cheese comps possibilities for Fight to the Death(if you dont have the mercs for the best option go for nother cheese comp CHEESE COMP FIGHT TO THE DEATH Turn 1 combo + Consistency SS Tier Cheese....Neeru + Rathorian + Mannoroth Turn 2 combo + consistency S Tier Cheese.....King Mukla + King Krush + Xuen(Krush and Xuen both have the Fight to the Death Treasure) Turn 2 combo + not consistent A Tier Cheese.....Rokara + MR Smite(Overboard) + Leeroy(while under get chicken he's immune)(Fight to the Death) A- Tier Cheese.....Rokara + Niuzao(Blessing of the OX)(Talisma of the OX equipment) + Sir Finley(Fight to the Death)(Finley Pith Helmet Equipment) smite will die but should deal a huge chunk of dmg to help Leeroy...Leeroy will be invincible finley should survive steadily with Niuzao help(but vs an enemy with more than 38 attack he will eventually die) .....random text added since copy pasting from my notepad may trigger youtube bot which will think this is spam due to too fast posting)

@@ansbremen The consistency of the demon drop is what makes me think they might not let it stand. If it works just about every time and it trivializes PvE heroics, I dunno. Could you clear heroic Drek that easily with Krush and Mukla? OG has several guides for Drek and none of them mention that combo... I know because it took me a dozen tries before I could get a comp working for that fight, a few months ago.

They could easily reduce the drop rate of To the Death for Demons. I got it on every run while testing this, but my math says it should be around 50%. 50% is still ridiculously consistent for a cheese. Nerf it down to the 10%-20% range and it is not worth doing anymore.
