I got to know about them through kapil sharma show and then i became curious to got to know about their love story and saw all there movies in the order in which they were released and i fall in love with thier chemistry. They were soo adorable and because i used to see there movies i got a video in suggestions about neetu kapoor where i found about her family background and later i got to know more about there after married life and found that rishi kapoor was an abusive husband . I felt soo bad for neetu singh like her childhood was filled with chaos when she was just 16 or 17 she started dating rishi kapoor so i felt like she was soo young at that time and thats why rishi kapoor manipulated her and always makes her felt less than him . I noticed this in many interviews where she put rishi kapoor over her but never saw the same affection from his side . He have a very big male ego which neetu singh fulfilled her entire life . Even i read an article about how rishi kapoor blamed neetu kapoor when his movie karz got floped on the boxoffice while neetu singh was pregnant with her daugher riddhima ande he even confessed it in his book . I never gonna hate neetu kapoor i adore her but yes do not agree with that dating post and whatever she said about katrina or deepika but rishi kapoor and her mother are the reason of this . Her mother exploited her in such a young age to fulfill her dream and then rishi kapoor controlled her . I think alia bhatt also loves ranbir the same way as neetu singh did to rishi kapoor .

Difference between Rishi Kapoor and my father is just that RK is alcoholic. My father does not need alcohol natural skill hai. 😂 RK has earned money and atleast given family financial support. All very standard in the entertainment industry across the world. But the importance Neetu's mother, and then she as a mother gave to her children is commendable. It is hard for stars to sustain their fan base and have a normal life. Marriage is seen as a finality between fans and their relationship with their idol. So many stars were encouraged not to marry, or to keep it secret. Neetu Singh was a wonderful actress, most especially alongside Rishi and Amitabh. God bless all.

I think people weigh these guys against the yardstick of the middle class. That's not how it works though. For ex. Neetu's mother worked with a single agenda of getting her married in Kapoor family, a la alia. For ex. Neetu debuted with Randhir Kapoor and within 7 years was married to Rishi. And you are telling me a 15-16 year old girl planned all that? Yeah right! To say that Neetu's mother was against the marriage is just how narratives are written so the actress does not come across as desperate/gold digger. And this would only be written if the lady is coming from a humble family. If you dig, the similar thing was spoken about Jaya Bachchan, that his father was not very chuffed with AB as her groom. Again, yeah right! Similarly there are other similar stories as well. Anyway, Neetu's mother lived with her in her married home till her death. She basically ran her life and marriage but they can't say that. Segue, every actress/model, especially in those days, had a story how they were 'discovered'. Instead of saying how their parents took them from audition to audition, planned/made connections to get them careers. And that's coz the world was conservative and women from respectable families didn't work in showbiz unless of course a uber respectable producer/director insists that they work with them, then how could they say No. Of course! Coz that's how world works. Raj Kapoors of the world is just strutting about malls and stations looking for next wonder woman and of course everyone is invited to his parties so everyone crosses paths with him twice daily anyway but are not good enough to catch his fancy. (rolling my eyes) I saw an interview of Waheeda Rehman in which she said that she laid a condition in her contract that she would choose what she would wear. She would've signed this said contract barely a few years after India's independence. And she's saying she not only knew what contract means but also had the wisdom to read and understand the conditions laid in it and had the foresight to come up with situations. Even in today's internet era a 15 yo cannot draw a contract, let alone sign it. And even if they did, it wouldn't be binding without the guardian's consent. But again no one says that coz it sounds like the parents are selling their kids. Now the next part, a lot of these women who are married into the absolute top are presented as victims. Neetu Kapoor was groomed. Aishwarya Rai is bullied and whatnot. They are basically given the victim card as if they are some hapless middle class housewives. And I think its time we shed this hypocrisy and accept the truth like how the world moved from 'discovered' to 'nepo kids saying I auditioned'. In most these marriages, Men have no way out. Dharmendra had to change religion and the wife despite that refused to divorce. Wouldn't it be easier on AB Sr, Ajay Devgan, SRK, AK, if they be let out of the marriage than to cling on to them? Aren't these women condemning everyone to live their misery? There's no way the man can fight a non consensual divorce. 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'. They know the wife will disgrace them, and kill their audience and careers. And everyone will readily handover the victim card to her, some coz that's genuinely how they think, and others coz its politically correct, if they don't then the internet will cancel them or something.
