hi there just figgered it out ...they are buffers so that the slider so that the slider will not crash into the leg and knock out the screws holding the legs on.... sorry for the bother....

What is going on!? Your slider plate is on slider upside down. I have same slider my slider dolly looks the same (although I can't be sure) but my slider dolly doesn't fit when I have it the same side up as you. Also my stand legs angle is horozontal as opposed to your vertical. Anyone else got this situation?

The longer the slider would be used more for wide angle lenses. If I were to use a the slider that I have now you would need a tighter shoot to really see the camera moving on the slider. So if you got a longer slider, I would get it because I can use a wider lens and still get the same effect.

I suggest, less talking, more technical information and visual examples of the product performance. For example you can mention the weight limit of the camera for optimal performance on the slider. Weigh your camera.
