There are a lot of "Gurus" recommending to skip grammar at the beginning, but honestly, the more I go through your playlist, the better my reading comprehension gets. Like wow! I went from barely understanding sentences to understanding 50% of what I read currently just by understanding the conjugations + particles. Thank you so much!!

Hello, Miss Vicky..😇 in the subject marking particles video you uploaded earlier,(in this one too actually) you once said in that, that fixed stem verbs like 있다, 없다 etc. (you told these two for examples) always take 이 or 가. So can you please upload the list of those fixed expression if it's not that much long? 🥺

Umm.. do you have any video which tells where to you 가요, 해요, and 주세요??
@tvf953 жыл бұрын
빅키 선생님, I just watched your video on 이/가 vs 은/는 and then came back to this one but I have a question. Is there a particular reason why at 1:00:17 you are adding 는 to 엄마 (->엄마는) instead of 가? In the original sentence it says 'my mom' so it's a specific person we are talking about, right? Or are you thinking of this sentence as a continuation of the previous sentence (so My dad isn't watching TV. As for my mom, she isn't cooking.)? Thanks a lot for your content! It's super helpful
@soul-ig9xi2 жыл бұрын
Hey there .. answer of your question is ... In that sentence "my mom" is the centre (focus). And whenever noun is the centre (focus) in the sentence .so we always use 은/는 instead of 이/가 .. that's why sentence was like .. 저의 엄마는 요리하고 있지 않아요. Anyways, i know it's lil bit confusing but keep going girl/boy .. 화이팅 !
