Review Note: explorekorean.net/beginner1-lesson8/ Time Stamp 00:00 Adjective's Two Functions 00:39 Korean Adjective vs English Adjective 03:33 Adjective Conjugation Rules (regular) 12:29 Adjective Conjugation Rules (irregular) 19:41 Past Tense Conjugation 21:54 Making Adjectives a Modifier 22:26 Example Sentences (conjugation vs modifier) 36:30 Adjectives with -있다, -없다 40:00 a brief spoiler for next lesson 41:55 outro with 고양이 ㅎㅎ Meanings of Adjectives (left out in the video) 12:40 슬프다 to be sad 예쁘다 to be pretty 나쁘다 to be bad 바쁘다 to be busy 배 고프다 to be hungry 아프다 to be sick, to hurt 쓰다 to be bitter 다르다 to be different 빠르다 to be fast Links to review note, quiz, list of 70 adjectives are in the description box :) +) I forgot to add: for the adjective 좁다 (to be narrow,) it is not considered an irregular verb, although the stem ends in ㅂ 받침. It just follows the regular rule, so you can say 통로가 너무 좁아요. The path is too narrow. 좁은 통로 the narrow path

Every language has difficult points that the majority of people think that the solution is just memorize (like for irregular verbs or adjectives) but native speakers don't think in any rule before saying something. So I believe the best thing you can do to learn a language is to practice intensively the listening and the reading and, consequently the grammar will be absorbed like a sponge. Of course you must sit down and see the grammar rules, but first you need to dive into the universe of the language. Thank so much for this video, was really helpful! Now it's time do practice 🤗✨💕

Thank you for the lesson. I've seen this sort ofending a lot, but I've also seen other adjective endings. What do these adjective endings mean? - 적인 (외향적인, 매력적인, 수동적인) - 의 (공공의, 정식의, 안도의) - 러운 (어지러운, 더러운) - 러워하는 (부끄러워하는, 두려워하는) - 스러운 (짜증스러운, 의시러운, 태평스러운) - 스러워하는 (자랑스러워하는) Does the noun being described determine the ending? Is it respectful language versus casual language?
