I wish we couldve seen how it affected him a little bit more. I have some loved ones who have done some awful things and i feel this in my soul. Ive spent many nights crying over it because i wish i could just have what i knew them as back, crying over the things they did, wondering how it ended up like that, etc. I wish the Erins couldve planned their story out a bit more so we couldve seen how everything effected him

I like how you made Thistleclaw kind. It's just, ya'know, unique. I felt pretty much sad, looking at how one of the most-hated cats is so good to his kit. Thistleclaw actually DID love his son, yet he didn't know how to raise him. I don't think he deserved to be made a pedo. Sometimes characters are just ruined in a bad way that people shouldn't do.

@@0xenfreeArt - I’m not normally a part of the “disregarding canon” camp, but that book was so shit. Not just because it handled the subject matter horribly and, iirc, only one Erin signed off on it. But it managed to ruin so many characters from Bluestar’s Prophecy. Not just Thistleclaw (for no real reason?? He broke the code by encouraging violence against Tiny. That’s enough to be sent to the DF) but it also made Spottedpaw/leaf _ANOTHER_ cat forced into the medicine cat lifestyle for, again, ~absolutely no reason.~ It even makes Bluefur/star look worse for somehow not knowing about that whole situation when she’s been looking for any reason to hate Thistleclaw. Just, ugh, such a sloppily written book.
