As a big fan of the Frost family, I fully agree Queen Frost should make a modern appearance. Also, one of my main wishes for future Megaten titles is for Jack The Ripper to make a proper 3D appearance in a mainline game so all 3 Jack Bros can be together again.

Here's one, Mammon, the seven deadly sin demons are rather lopsidedly represented in SMT like Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub and Belphegor appear like all the time but then there's Asmodeus, Leviathan and especially Mammon who barely appear, honestly I think all 7 should be in most major games, but Mammon especially has two designs but really just one, first Mammon has a Devil Children design and then a P5 design which is just Shadow Okumura's boss fight version who doesn't even transform, it just feels weird to me that a demon that represents one of the seven deadly sins, a widely known concept, is completely neglected in SMT especially when Belphegor, who isn't plot important like Lucifer, appears pretty frequently. Edit: (Mammon does appear in older games too actually, specifically Megami Tensei II and Shin Megami Tensei if, but he's still barely there in the series regardless)

Sweet selection of demons. Honestly, one demon I'd like to see come back is Druj from Megaten II and if. Beelzebub may have the fly quota filled, but I think it'd be neat to see this design in a 3D setting. Besides, there aren't that many insect ladies in media. For another, Selket could use an update to her model, considering her last appearance was in King Abaddon. Another design I'd like to see is Leprechaun, purely because of his singular appearance in Soul Hackers....and DemiKids. The fact that he's only appeared in Soul Hackers is baffling. Leprechauns are one of the most famous myths in Irish folklore, so why not bring him back? Also, please bring Queen Frost into 3D, Atlus. She has been stuck in the castle for far too long.

Brynhildr's First and last apperance - Majin Tensei II: Spiral Nemesis (1995) I feel that her tragic story could perfect for Persona at very least. A former human princess that became a Valkyrie her good looks and pure actions. Valkyrie that changed fate of humans and punished by Odin, she was cursed to sleep for eternity in castle surround by fire. She was awaken by the most brave prince (Sigfried - who appears in a lot of games.) Persona could be a fun way to show case the act. Maybe as Persona, she is sent to kill or collect a soul but she refuse to do so. An evil entity curses her sleep until right person awaken her, she becomes the persona of that entity. She vows to protect that person and she was never "evil", she was just following orders. If she gets "evolved" form maybe she can evolve into Freyja - Queens of Valkyries. In Shin Megami Tensei, maybe she is a former Valkyrie that wants revenge from Odin and she needs "awake" up to be at full power.

Leviathan is such a weird figure because like...for as much as it has appeared in the franchise, it doesn't really have a consistent design. The Devil Summoner design is just one of the Zeed forms, which is the only time it arguably got Kaneko art. In Persona 2 it looks like palette swap of Dagon, and technically it's appeared in both Persona 5 and Tokyo Mirage Sessions, so it's not like it hasn't been around, just very rarely as an actual demon with its own identity.

Rumor wasnt new, it came from the original Soul Hackers. Devil Summoner and Soul Hackers generally had a running theme of their demon rosters being more local legends and historical figures. This included obscure kami as well as various cryptids and other stuff. Soul Hackers 2 actually toned this down and didnt add as many.

I agree with my friend in wanting Queen frost to actually make a comeback because we've seen Jack and his brothers throughout the entire course of the series as well as his king but never the Queen. And now that we know that she does exist I think it's high time to give her A 3D design. Actually give all of these demons new 3D designs or bring them back because now this is turning into a little bit like with Pokémon where they just remove certain monsters and then replace them with all these brand new ones but never bring back certain ones only in this series it's more often than not. I would love to see Chemtrail, Oliver, Chupacabra, Garrote, Mad Gasser and Viy again, I know some of them have appear often enough but I just love those oddballs a lot. Chemtrails theory is very dumb but when I saw the SMT desing it was love at first sight, Oliver and the chupacabras (also on a side note I like that SMT is one of the few sources that actually aknowledge the fact that the chupacabras was first reported on Puerto Rico and got named in Puerto Rico rather than in Mexico) are some of my coolest fringe stuff childhood memories, with Garrote and the Mad Gasser is kind of the same but in late life rather than childhood and with Viy is because a friend of mine showed my the movie and I really loved the concept, I would love for Viy to get a redesing. Atlus isn't the company who develops the mobile game & make the models it for it; it's all SEGA. Even the demons who already appeared in Persona 5 had completely new models made for them. Additionally, Atlus have't reused any models from it, which I feel is evident by comparing the demons who were brought back in Soul Hackers 2 with their Dx2 appearance.

Personally I feel like the Roman pantheon gets screwed over pretty constantly by simply being left out. Yeah I know they're just the Greek pantheon with the serial numbers filed off, but come on. I think the only time I've ever seen any one of them in an SMT game was Mars in Persona 2, where he's just a lower-level reskin of Ares.

One demon that I'd always wanted to see come back was the Carbuncle. I could totally see it being adorable and having some quite interesting abilities these days, but unfortunately its only appearance in Megami Tensei 2 was far from cute, lol. Granted, I mean, we all know how SMT is known for being adorable, right? /s It would still probably be a low-level demon, but they just didn't do much at all with it compared to what could really be done, as its only native ability ever through MT2 and the Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei version of MT2 was the base Zio. Granted, of course, I'm sure you would be able to fuse various demons into it to give it pretty much any skill you want to possibly match the kinds of abilities that I could see of it, but what I'm talking about is at base with no fusing into it. The carbuncle as it's described in South American mythology had a jointed shell like an armadillo, so Rakukaja definitely would be a possible skill. The gem also could expel gathered light that can temporarily blind a greedy person, so while Zio is an ok skill for it, I'd go more for Kouha and Sukunda or, if the Blind status were to return from Persona 1, whatever skill would be able to cause that since unfortunately the only skill that caused Blindness in Persona 1 was Fog Breath. That gem could also be crushed into a fine powder that can cure blindness, however, so ailment recovery, Sukukaja and possibly healing would also work very well.

Three demon designs I want to see show up in new games and get 3D models are Haokah, Ictinike, and Vaka's Soul Hacker's design. I know Atlus used Vaka's SMT2 in games as resent as Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner, but his old is sorta an edited version of preta's model, and it's Soul Hacker's design is just so unique.

He's only appeared in One game, that being SMT1, in a Kaga-saga ass event, so you go into a room in the Echo Building where you'd normally fight a Brownie, but there's a small chance where Bigfoot would appear instead! That's it? A rare event that almost no one would do in their right mind. Okay. Also, Fuhedi Mergane, the god of hunting in Mongolian Mythology. Why? I just think it would be neat.

I’d love for Adam and Eve return one day too. Also, Terminator isn’t actually a demon. He’s actually a human, as most Messian and Gaean race enemies are. That’s why they’re enemy only. So the only he’d probably reappear in a MegaTen game is if the Messian cult reappears too. Or an SMT II remake happens.

Not to shamelessly self-promote but Dead Lobster is an enemy in the Grimoire of Heart, the (free and very cool) Persona/SMT TTRPG I wrote! His statblock and game plan are focused on slowly floating towards a party member, then deboning them. Using weird older designs is a lot of fun so I usually gravitate towards those when making add-on content.

I’d love to see Sebek again too. Crazy how he hasn’t been used much in the series. He’s one of the most recognizable Egyptian deities. Terminator, however, isn’t actually a demon in game though. In SMT II, the game he appears in, he’s a non-recruitable human enemy that’s a part of the Messaian cult. Only way he’ll probably come back is if the Messaian cult reappears in a future game or we get an SMT II remake.

Soul Hackers had such a unique library of demons, I feel like a lot of them had minimal presence in other games. Of them, I think the rumor family was my favorite, with demons based on urban legends. I'm glad Running Granny has came back lately, but I feel like they all could come back. Oh, also the Juggler. Don't know what his deal was, but I just liked that character and think he could be a cool demon Other than that I'd love for the Famed demons to come back. Sure we had Masakado and Yoshitsune in almost all the games, but I think some iconic demons have been forgotten lately. Jeanne d'Arc comes to mind. Finally, I think Hannya could do a come back. With the popularity of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise soaring in the past decade, Hannya is a figure that is both recognizable and deserve to have her origins more known. Heck, a new redesign could enhance the old vengeful woman!

How about Bigfoot, he is a palette swap of Wendigo and only appears in Shin Megami Tensei on the SNES. There is a room at the Echo Building that has an encounter with a Brownie, with an extreme rare chance of it being Bigfoot instead. With having well known folklore creature as party members like Wendigo and Mermaid, how amusing it would be to have Bigfoot fight alongside with you.

I know he isn't exactly unpopular but Jack the Ripper feels super underutilized in SMT. I kind of hope if he shows up again he has a side quest about how he wants to be in the Jack Bros like he used to.

The issue is that he has never been in a 3D game, and atlus is reluctant to model demons that have never been modeled before...or really model new stuff in general.

Synchronicity Prologue. It was a Search Action game they released to advertise Strange Journey Redux. It was officially delisted but...you can find it, and it even has an English translation patch. It's only a few hours, but I honestly love it.

Was about to come scream about Kamitachi again, cause my boi needs to be freed from Devil Children jail, but I can't cause he's been in 4 games So instead: Bathin- A member of the Goetia with one of the best designs ever that is trapped in DC jail. The jailer of hell needs to be free Bug- A demon exclusively from MT based off of a computer glitch, the first demon to have an animated sprite, which would constantly flip over. With the franchise focusing so much on our relationship with technology these days, it'd be a perfect inclusion Jabberwocky- A fun little literary demon was around back in MT and only returned for Giten Cthugha- Speaking of Giten, with Cthulhu being revived for the mobile game and Nyarla being as important to the franchise as it is, its sad the, and a quite, "Vampire of Fire" be forgtten in Giten Gilgamesh- How. How in the fuck is Gilgamesh. GILGAMESH, in DC jail Sif- Putting her in here before I can't anymore when the SMT releases come out. But yeah, Sif, Wife of Thor has only ever been in Persona 2 And since I'm lazy, imma round it out with how I started with some Goetians I wanna see get more love: Ronove- The goblin lord of hell, who has only ever appeared in the SMT4 manga. For that matter, the horned rabbit Almi'raj also needs to be unleashed from those pages Buer- The demon that appears on the goddamn cover of a Black Sabbath album and for whom I am willing to cheat to include, as his 4th appearance after IF, Majin 2 and Giten is Groove on Fight Viné- The forgotten Demon King who has not been seen since IF & Giten And a cheating shout out to Amdusias (MT2, Kuuyaku, IF & Giten) foir having one of the best designs of all time for his IF design

Are you talking about Gigas guys from Persona 3 and 4? If so, probably not. They were shadows created specifically for those games. They might reappear in a future Persona game though. If you’re talking about the real life Hulk Hogan, then it’s very unlikely. MegaTen rarely features real life people who are still alive in their games, especially as demons. Stephen is the only exception I can think of, and he’s not a demon nor explicitly the real world one either.
